I came to watch my kid on Sunday at the parade. This is a very racist and prejudiced environment I would urge anyone with friends or family of color do not ever come here unless you want to be discriminated or racially profiled or somewhere in prison. Because it is very racist especially the woman and the owner condolences he didn't even stop it. The owner asked me if I can move my car back. Or was I going to be sitting inside my car during the parade. Because if not I didn't have to move my car back. Before I could respond because my kid's dad was there also to watch our daughter performing the parade. The woman in front of the owner and her kids as well as my kid started to yell at me and told her man you don't have to ask her nicely anything this is private property you can call the cops and have their cars towed. I looked at her and I said what in the Karen? I was literally waiting for my kids dad to get out of his car because we drove separately and he parked right next to me But take a look at the picture and you'll understand why she didn't think that that was my child's father or think that she could just talk to me any kind of way because I didn't hurry up and respond back to her and her man's white supremacy super fast it was just so racist I had never in my life experience such discrimination and abuse at the same time and I told her she didn't have to threaten me like that because at the same time I don't deserve that type of tone that she's giving me much less the threat I was clearly waiting for my kids father to come out his car so I can tell him what the guy apparently her man told me but then when I looked during the parade everyone that wasn't looking like me was parked right there so I'm guessing that information was not going to be people who didn't look like me...
Read moreStaff was very friendly. One review mentioned they didn’t give enough plates and wouldn’t give more, but we got more than we needed. I ordered a sausage calzone ($10 for cheese, $2 to add sausage or pepperoni). My husband ordered lemon and oregano chicken (came with a big piece of bread, a lot of French fries, and a small container of coleslaw)...and we got a 6” cheese pizza for our young son. The food was decent. Quantity was generous. The chicken did not look the best but tasted fine. Fries were nice and crispy. Coleslaw was a bit bland. Pizza was okay. Sauce is good but the crust could use some work. Not horrible though and worth eating, most people who came to the restersunt did not seem to order pizza so I don’t consider it a main star and this taste kind of reflects that. The burgers looked really good, though we did not order this time. The calzone...I was afraid to get it bcs I thought it was rather spendy. However, it was huge. I could eat 25% of it and that was all. Overall it was good, but I wish they had more sauce on it as I got mostly the cheese flavor. Crust was good and soft (better than the pizza crust), and they have a hearty amount of sausage in it, though I think I would go with pepperoni next time and would be great if they offered with some veggies like olives. It was worth the price and I have leftovers for a couple of days. Our son liked his pizza, though the cheese was his favorite part. I was hesisyant to try eating at Zak’s, but glad we did and I would go back and try other things...
Read moreOK food, not the best pizza but not the worst. Only thing going for this place is that they serve Halal food (at least I hope so). Reason for the one star is that they have horrible customer service and the place is not that clean. Recently went there and got their 18" pizza to go, which according to them servers 4-5 people. Asked for some plates, napkins, crushed peppers and parmesan cheese. Lady behind the counter hands me 2 paper plates, few peppers and one small container of parmesan cheese. I asked for some more plates and parmesan cheese and the lady tells me "that's all we give". So I tell her according to you this pizza feeds 4-5 at least give me 4 plates. She out right refuses. How about an extra parmesan? Her answer: "you are only suppose to sprinkle a little over the pizza so one is enough." Last I checked there wasn't a standard rule on how much parmesan you have to put on a pizza. I really wonder how much they are actually saving on those plates and cheese. Honestly, only reason they are still in business is the Halal food since people in the area don't have many choices. Well needless to say I won't be going back there. Hope those plates were worth...
