Wasn’t all that to me. The rice and peas were dry and lacking flavor. The lobster Mac also no flavor I literally had to put the Mac back in a pot reconstitute it aka Dr it up and the same w/ the rice and peas. $16 for 8 wings??? 🤦🏽‍♀️ Which should have been cheaper cuz it was happy hour. When I first got there The manager said he would “hook me up” for $20 just so that when I had to pay he charged me $35 🤦🏽‍♀️ Which I’m not trippin but if that was the case He should have offered me the fish escovich I initially asked for 👀. He threw in a Jamaican patty which He should’ve asked what kind did I want because really I wanted spinach . The Good Life Cafe did not disappoint. I was greeted by a friendly hostess and promptly seated. I used my QR Code reader to access the menu and decided to order the hamburger slider with french fries and a Sprite. My food arrived hot and freshly cooked. My order was quickly followed with a complimentary order of plantain chips and pineapple salsa. I ate and watched the shows that were displayed on large screen televisions. The ambiance was nice and the food delicious! I will definitely return to try other items...

This place is a hidden gem!! I came here for the first time today with my Aunty who was new to Caribbean food. We had the Sweet Chili wings, Plantains and Salsa, Oxtails, and Pizookie!! Please come out and support your local businesses. The food, the atmosphere, and the service was worth so much more than 5 stars. Forget the reviews, come and try out this place for yourself!
