Wow... Just wow. Decided after our visit to Wildcat Park that we'd stop at Sonic Drive-in 4705. We ordered in the app and checked in when we got there. So far so good. We finally got our order and the food was good except they had given me tater tots instead of large onion rings. I even checked my order to be sure because I was debating between onion rings and tots but I had ordered a large onion rings. So we pushed the red button to get it corrected. No one answered... EVER. While we were there we overheard a lady who used to red button to contact the staff state she received a Coke instead of Sprite, another lady got out of her car to complain about a mix up, and finally another person who apparently got their attention and a worker walked to their car and took their food back. While we ate our other items and waited for a response from the red button, someone in a yellow Chevy Camaro pulled up. Several workers knew the person in the Camaro and 4-5 of the workers came out to speak to then and inspect their car. This was all happening while the mix ups were occuring. Finally the yellow Camaro left and 3 workers walked back in. Still, NO ONE ANSWERED OUR RED BUTTON PRESS. Finally, we pulled around to the drive thru and tried to get their attention and after about 5 minutes, still no one answered the drive thru. This Sonic has always had subpar service but its down right ridiculous when at least 4 orders were messed up in a short period of time and the workers cared more about a friend's new car than their jobs. If I were the owner of this Sonic I'd fire all the workers on duty around 2pm today. Purple hair guy, backwards hat flannel guy, really short girl, and almost man-bun ponytail guy all should be wrote up or fired. Me and mine will be boycotting this Sonic and be...
Read moreI went because the corn dogs were $.50 and my wife is a huge fan. The place was heavily steady but there were in fact several slots open so I assumed it wouldn't take too long to place my order. I sat at the first speaker I pulled into and pressed the button. I literally waited until the screen no longer showed I was waiting to order. I repeated this 3 times before realizing the slots on either side of me had filled several orders in the time I'd sat waiting to place mine. I figured I might be sitting at a broken menu board so I move slots and push the button there. I sat in the second slot for at least another 30 minutes with similar results to the first one. I tried to call 3 different servers to my car who walked by but was ignored by all of them. When I finally get my food and leave, my wife looks and realizes that despite waiting over 2 hours, almost all of our food is simultaneously rushed(half raw) and cold from sitting after it was cooked. We used to love this Sonic but lately all the food is trash and so is the service for the past few months. If things don't change, we likely will never go back. In fact, I'd have demanded a refund today if I felt like sitting hungry in the rain for...
Read moreHave tried multiple times in the last few weeks to make an evening ice cream run. Every time we have tried they have been closed by 8:30. So yesterday I called ahead and made sure they were open. They said they would be open until 9 pm. So we rush over and pull into the bin at 8:53. We agree on what we are going to order before we arrive and so I press the little red bottom at 8:54 pm. As the excitement rises as we are about to finally get to try the Banana Pudding shake, I hear over the speaker “we are closed.” In disbelief I press the bottom again. However I receive the same response. I understand that there is a labor shortage in our country right now but I don’t believe that any business should be allowed to close the doors early because of that. You don’t go to Walmart and them kick you out 6 minutes early. Why? Because they want your money and your business. I thought that Sonic would want the same. I do believe that will be my last attempt to ever do business there. Might as well close up shop so someone can put in a restaurant that actually wants customers and continued business. Would’ve put a 0 star...
