Really sad. I usually go to the chipotle in Redlands ca. what a difference. Went to a chipotle in Orange County. I hope someone in upper management sees this. We ordered two brisket bowls. Today is Friday 1:30 pm. My wife ordered with no beens and guacamole on the side. We got that fine. But when I looked at the receipt, he had charged me eight dollars extra for extra bricket. when I ask about it he said that we ordered double I walked up to the guy who had helped us two minutes before and said, my wife never said double anything. he said, “ I’m pretty sure she said that”. They charged me for something I never ordered. So when I asked about it, he said I’ll just give you your money back. I then realized that he never charged me for the guacamole and said “ you don’t have to give me the whole eight dollars back just take the difference.” The gentleman says no I’ll just give you all the money back that way you can go on your way. I said well I’m just trying to be honest and he said “I don’t even wanna hear it.” if you look at my name, I hardly ever leave surveys for anybody but this warranted a feedback. I told him “that’s a new one.” As I have never been treated that way at any restaurant. Ever. He said “well I guess so.” Looking at the one star reviews I get it. I should have looked at them...
Read moreStaff was a little rude. We went in about an hour before closing, and it was obvious the employees were tired. There were no smiles or cheerfulness any where. I went with some one who had never been to Chipotle before & he had a lot of questions about the menu. The person helping (that first person who gives you your tortilla & meat) us was a little condescending. I get that you've probably had to ask "what at kind of meat do you want?" like 10,000 times that day, but it was our first time hearing it. There were 2 other employees working, one on the grill & one on salsa/cashier duty. This person seemed a little frazzled too. Burritos were piling up, and it looked like she rang some one up out of order. There were other employees there too, but in the front at the tables eatting. I dont know if they were on break or off work. It looked a little odd because there was a line forming & these 2 people In uniform, at the front tables, chowing down & laughing. Anyways, the food was good (which is normal for Chipotle). But I definitely think I'll just stick to the one near the...
Read moreCame in last night around 9:30 pm with my nephews after a long day at the beach and was served by this young guy with black glasses. This guy acted like we were a nuisance to him and were messing up his night. He had an attitude and was just rude, short and dismissive. I spent $50 on 3 burritos and a quesadilla. When I am spending my hard earned cash on a meal I don't want to be made to feel like I'm inconvenient to you. Chipotle is going down hill hard, especially at this location. Won't be going back to this one. Get your staff on check management.
Another general issue with Chipotle as a whole: I use to love Chipotle, but I have noticed in all their sites that the portions of protein have significantly decreased and the rice and beans increased. The difference is dramatic and very obvious. While this has happened, their prices have also increased, which is just shameless greed...
