I hadn’t been there since before the pandemic the first time everything was great it depends on who takes your Order because the next time I said specifically that I wanted the ground beef scrambler I got hash instead when I called they asked the person did I order the ground beef and she said yes then when they told her I got the wrong thing she said she didn’t remember me saying it I let that pass but this time they give me burnt home fries I ordered 3 one portion was just burnt through you could smell it another one had good ones on top of burnt ones now when I called to let them know the new guy didn’t know what to do but acted like he could help me he was respectful they all are until you complain because Shannon took my order and checked it when he said something to her about me being on the ohone saying I had burnt food I could have sworn she (Shannon )said she was not serving me again hmmm I don’t need a phony person pretending to be nice but I couldn’t show them in person the food I told them I would take a photo and send it oh just show us when you come back ...... that’s not happening. When I pay my money I expect quality I really can’t believe they would think it’s ok to give burnt potatoes .I’ll spend my money somewhere they will make sure the problem is rectified because there they sounded like my complaint was for no reason since she said she checked my order and everything was beautiful once they tie the bags you won’t know until you get home then it...

I think this place is getting good reviews mainly because it has a large selection of healthy choices i.e. brown rice, veggie dishes, soy options, squaw bread, etc. But the food isn't that amazing, its average. Pancakes are amazing though, but not very hard to do.

I came at the end of Sunday rush. The waitress just wanted to get out of here and was very uninviting. The place was a disaster, the floors were disgusting with food and trash everywhere and we had to clean off our seats before sitting down. But the table was supposedly cleaned with new silverware already placed. The bathrooms were also very dirty.

Anyway, the food was good, but breakfast isn't very difficult so that's not saying much. I will give them credit for having so many healthy options, but I won't be coming back because the waitress was very dull and uninviting, but mainly because the entire place was a mess. I understand Sunday is busy but you can't enjoy your food knowing they don't care about cleanliness. If the customer area and bathrooms looks like this, I'm afraid what the back looks like especially in the kitchen. Scary.... Eat here at...

I went to this restaurant and was immensely disappointed. I try not to immediately judge a place by one bad impression, but this was absolutely ridiculous. The service is absolutely terrible. I came here with my bf on two occasions and both a waitress flirted and stared at him right in front of me, and a waiter who openly disrespected him. There’s a dirty blonde waitress , who doesn’t act professional at all, and has zero respect towards taken men, and I’m not the only one she’s done this to, there’s also a waiter named Joel, who disrespected him openly and started off his greeting with bad manners. I am disgusted and appalled by the lack of manners from their staff, as well as all the profanity that was spewed around. I’m very fed up with this restaurant. I expect more, the quality of the service is as sub par as the food. Piece of Advice for Eggs ETC: Hire Professionals not Children. Overall I wish I could give this place zero stars, considering how poorly maintained it was as well, the place was as disgusting as their...

Staying with my family in Long Beach for a funeral. While they went to work, I decided to walk somewhere for some breakfast. This place wasn't far from my aunt's apartment so I said what the hell. I was seated very quickly and my server, Tanaya, took my order shortly after that. Service was very prompt and my food was very delicious. I ordered the Rancho Omelette. It was quite tasty. My only minor complaint was that the gravy for the biscuit didn't have enough seasoning. But I chalk that up not to poor preparation but rather just different sensibilities. You have to serve this food to everyone, so it shouldn't be too salted. Plus I'm from Kentucky and biscuits and gravy are prepared a little differently there. The restaurant is very cozy and they have pictures of various Long Beach landmarks. All in all, a very good restaurant. If I am ever in the area again I will definitely stop by.

Eggs is what I would describe as the old school style cafe that you are always looking for to provide that consistent comfort and good food! The service is stellar (everyone is super friendly), they keep the “cafe black coffee” always topped off and just right, and food is EGGcelent. Personally my go-to favorite is the french toast, but the home fries are baller! I’ve tried several of the breakfast cafes in the area and this one is by far the best - been here 4 weekends in a row.

We ordered the Popeye, and the spin/jack. We got the blueberry pancake, the granola pancake, the home fries and the biscuit and gravy. Everything was good, except for the biscuit and gravy. It was bland, there was no flavor. The granola pancake was good but had a strange texture, given that we got to try it and a blueberry pancake, definitely get the non granola, it is more pancake like (light and fluffy).
