I was volunteering here for almost a year. The environment at this location is highly toxic and there is reason to believe they are even scamming vulnerable peoples that come into their orbit in order to cover some contribution requirement that employees have. I believe Instagram was utilized to stalk me and possibly other individuals assisting the organization. The supervisors created an extremely hostile environment for volunteers that refused to comply with whatever backward requests were made and consistently gossiped and spread lies. I was forced to stop volunteering when the supervisors ordered other volunteers to harass me through various means, including physical intimidation and stalking. I left the state in order to regain some semblance of safety, even though that may only be imagined. I did my best to continue volunteering regardless of the consistent harassment but in the end the stress was overwhelming to the point of aggravating a chronic thyroid condition.
