Wanted to give this place a shot since they were only open for 2 weeks at the time of me writing this review 12/1/24. The first thing i noticed was that is very clean! It feels great when you first walked in. The waitress and the chef both greeted us with a genuine smile and promptly seated us. We ordered the braised pork bowl, red tiger ramen, and fried shrimp pops. Food came quickly with a nice presentation. I’ll start with the ramen, it was really good. The broth wasn’t too salty compared to other ramen places I visited, the broth saltiness was well balanced. Th noodles was slightly firmer than other places but it nothing to complain about. The amount of noodles, toppings, and quantity of food was very fulfilling. My recommendation for the ramen is it can be spicier. This ramen was supposed their spiciest dish and it barely did anything for me. The chasu pork was very soft/melting.I love that the ramen came with toppings that other places would normally charge for. As for the pork bowl, it was good. My only suggestion is maybe add more sauce and meat. The sauce was a little plain, maybe make it a bit sweeter. The shrimp pops were also good. I like that it wasn’t too bread so you actually are getting more shrimp then batter. Overall the food was great and i would come back again with more of my friends. I only took off a star because they couldn’t serve alcohol at the time we went, will add it back once they have full service. Speaking on service the staff attentiveness, friendliness, and helpfulness was top notch. We where there for and 1hr and they constantly came back to check up on us. Each time they came back you can tell they were genuine and not just “doing...

We visited Great Tiger Ramen hoping to try their food and promote the business online, but our experience was disappointing from the moment we walked in. Not a single staff member greeted or acknowledged us, despite us standing by the entrance for about 10 minutes before someone finally put our name on the list. This was particularly frustrating considering there were plenty of available tables.

To make matters worse, we noticed several parties already seated but twiddling their thumbs—waiting for edamame to start or for their orders to be taken. One of the servers, who seemed more focused on cracking jokes than providing good service, came off as a personality hire rather than a competent staff member. We expected a welcoming and attentive experience, but instead, we felt ignored and unimportant.

We eat at ramen places all over and were excited to try yet another, but we were deeply disappointed in the service. Not a single person acknowledged our party, and the lack of attentiveness was impossible to ignore. It’s hard to recommend a place that seems so unconcerned with providing a...

If you want flavor, this is the place to go. We had the ramen there for dinner and from the first spoonful to the last, it was full of amazing flavors. I had the black tiger ramen and my wife had the red tiger ramen, both tremendously delicious. If you are considering trying this establishment or looking for some good ramen. Stop looking. You have found it. Not to mention that the staff was super friendly and helpful. Even when I stopped one of them at a random time for a fork or something, they did not give me any attitude or anything, they simply assisted me with great attitude. My only, if any issues, are the high prices, but the proportion are more than generous and like I said, extremely full of flavor, then I can put up with the price. TLDR - Great food. Stop...

This hole-in-the-wall little strip-mall place left me charmed. The person who greeted us when we came in also took our order. He saw that I was there with my daughter and asked if we planned to share. I said yes. He gave a thoughtful recommendation of the combo A. I said that she wanted a specific ramen, and it wasn't part of the combo, but he made it part of the combo for me for a small additional fee ❤️. It was a lot of food. The ramen was great. We had sesame chicken (fried chicken bits) and chicken fried rice with it. The server checked in frequently but not intrusively, and genuinely seemed invested in our enjoyment. He gave us to go boxes for what we didn't finish. Unexpectedly excellent dining experience.

Great addition to the ramen scene in LBC. before Great Tiger, the only good ramen joint is HiroNori, and I'm happy to add Great tiger ramen to the list. We tried to namesake ramen and the mazemen, and the great tiger is definitely the winner here. The noodle is similar to shinsengumi's, i.e. thin and not very eggy. Mazemen is a broth less ramen that can use a bit more protein to balance out the flavor. My only issue with it is that it has too much white pepper/ msg added to it. I didn't mind the flavoring, but it was a bit too much. Looking forward to trying other items here .
