For new parents out there: We live in the area and have been coming to this place every now and then for a few years now. My wife and I had a baby in January...fast forward two months of little sleep and diapers and we are ready to time one of our first nights out with a nap time! Good plan. We arrive around 5.20pm, order food, some wine, all good. Note: our stroller is out of the way, since the baby is sleeping. Until maybe 40 minutes and a couple of glasses of wine later our son decides to wake up a little early. Oh well!! Who wants a fussy baby during dinner? No one. Me neither. I pull him out of a stroller, play with him, show him around. He is on my lap, i am trying to finish grilled octopus with another hand (success!). He chills out a bit, so i pull the stroller closer to me, put a baby in it, so i can sooth him by rocking with my right hand, as the table is getting cleared.... We are almost ready to leave... Now... the owner shows up and says he needs to put a party of six people to the table next to us. He asks if I can move a stroller with my son out of the way, so there is more room for one of the chairs. I tell him no, i need my son next to me at this moment. Instead of figuring something out he tries to bully me, saying "where will i put these people?! I will put this person right next to your stroller! I am the owner, you can leave me a bad review, don't come here again, you are fired!". Man, even my two month's old is more chill. Sorry, can't do. I am no restaurant owner, but here are a couple of ideas: 1) You can push the other table 10 inches out to make room; 2) When you find us a table an hour ago (not a long time for dinner), find a place where a stroller won't bother you; 3) Wait 5 minutes as we get a check. Or do those people really can't wait to jump on their appetizers? My wife and I said we are about to leave. Instead he storms out angrily. For transparency: I paid my bill of ~$200, including 18% tip. A minute later the person helping us with dinner told it is void, so we don't have to worry about it. I never asked for it and always pay my bills! Not sure if it was an apology or the owner does not want money from a "fired" customer. I don't care, but figured I'll mention. Anyways, my son is at home and he knows that when he needed his dad, I was there for him. That's all that matters to me. Attached is a photo, so you can judge for yourself if I was taking an unreasonable amount of space. Cheers.

It may just be that my food palate can't really comprehend the quality of the food, but overall the food was just bland and expensive. Compared to other restaurants I've been to that were bursting with flavor that was begging me to come back, the flavor from this place was okay. The veal just tasted salty and the caprese was lacking a good amount of the balsamic vinaigrette- well it was there but it was dripping off the basil and seemed to get mixed in the oil on the plate. As for the gnocchi it was just bland a few bites in and I was just done with the enjoyment of said dish. While this was a celebration for my mother's birthday and the food was overall enjoyed by family and friends, I can't say from what I tasted that it left me with a longing to try this place again. I should mention that the chairs are also very hard and uncomfortable to sit on for an extended period of time. The only reason why I'm giving this place a 4 was because of the piping hot bread that constantly arrive that had a nice crispy and flakey crust, along with the amazing service.

The restaurant was very enjoyable and very busy since we came on the last day of The chocolate festival. We were a group of 8 people and they were nice in accommodating us without a reservation. The food/wine/drinks and atmosphere are good, however, by the time we finished our appetizers, it got really cold on the terrace. The main course was taking a long time (understandable, given the circumstances) and we asked the owners if we could finish our dinner inside, since everybody was freezing. They told us this would be impossible, since all of their stuff was exhausted from the festival. They did bring us a heater that honestly, didn’t do much since we were a large group of people that were complaining. At that time, they had plenty of free tables inside and a lot of people that were still eating when we left. I totally empathize with the stuff, but they were more than willing to move us, had the owner agreed, since they were freezing as well. Glenn, I understand that as you mentioned, this is a good restaurant but people usually pay not only for the food but for the entire experience and it would have been lovely to be able to actually enjoy our dinner in warmth, especially since you had the possibility and it would have costed you just a small effort. Going that extra mile is what differentiates and makes a...

Sunday dinner 8Sep for 4 people I have had Lunch here many times and have really enjoyed Food, service and environment.

Tonight we were welcomed inside, seated at a nice table and received Water & Bread almost immediately.

Our server visited almost 15 minutes after we're seated. It was enough time that we had gone through menu, selected our meals, started eating bread and, were having a lively conversation.

We were ready to order, no drinks; took a little time to get the order taken, the server was not hearing us clearly.

Salads came in very good time. The salads were a little overdressed. We asked for a 2nd loaf of bread, and was told it would be $4. The cost is not the issue, it is the charge at a fine dining restaurant. I don't feel it is appropriate.

I am sure our server was expediting, but the time from salad clear till dinner served was 37 minutes. At this points we had been told 4 times dinner was coming.

Main courses of Eggplant, seafood pasta and seafood risotto. All meals were big quantities, perhaps too large. Seasoning was just not there, seafood was well prepared, but just lacking a fine dining presentation or flavor profile.

No Dessert nothing interesting, typical Italian stuff and nothing made in house

While I may return for a lunch,...
