O'Bagel Bagelry & Deli — Restaurant in Long Hill Township

despite this place having the best bagels they have insanely bad customer service. i began calling ahead maybe 2 years ago and get what i ordered maybe every other time because not a single person who works there speaks English as their first language making anything other than the simplest order nearly impossible. they also close the grill at different times whenever they feel like it. probably the most poorly run place ive ever been to. they are lucky their bagels are so good or they wouldve gone out of business 100 times over.

i wish i could write another review. today i called, someone picked up, didnt say anything then put the phone down. i sat there listening to them do whatever for almost 10 minutes before hanging up. when i tried to call back it has been busy now for the last 10 minutes. im not even going to bother going in because of how slow they are taking orders. the bagels are amazing but i really cant stress enough how TERRIBLE...

Are you hungry? Dont go here you'll never get your food. Sometimes for fun if I have 45 minutes to kill I'll come here, order and just wait, then leave with no food. If you're thinking about eating here make sure you have an hour to wait and you aren't hungry because you'll never get anything. I'm no genius but I worked at a deli for 8 years and I know when a system is inefficient. Why does every single person working (8 people) need to work on every sandwich. It's a bagel with some meat why does every employee need to be huddled around the grill pointing, talking and inspecting every single sandwich. The food looked horrible maybe its better I waited so long and left with nothing. If this was the only bagel store in a 1,000 mile radius I would drive 100 hours, take a 20 hour flight and sail for 6 years to find another bagel before I would ever enter this...

They have great bagels, no argument there. The problem is the absolutely horrific customer service. Empty on Wednesday morning, standing in line for over ten minutes being completely ignored and unacknowledged while they fill online/phone orders. Another time I had to repeat my order four times to the woman behind the counter because she wasn't comprehending, got to my car, found out it was still wrong, came back inside, took another ten minutes to get her to understand all she was supposed to do was put veggie cc on a poppy bagel. It went on for so long I thought she was messing with me. Two other workers standing there, doing absolutely nothing to help the situation, bad attitudes all around. Despite the good bagels, I won't be back until they fix their severe customer service issue. And all these reviews saying "great friendly service" - are...
