Abuelita's Empanadas — Restaurant in Longmont

First off, the empanadas were a lot smaller than in the display case. Yet they were still very expensive. Secondly, the pastry was so dry and flaked off in a really weird way. Oddly burned in some spots but not others. Thirdly, there was almost no flavor to any of the empanadas. I suspect that they served us empanadas that had been frozen for years. I got an apple empanada and cherry tart cake. Both were absolutely delicious!! Food and service earned 5/5, while atmosphere was a 4/5 because the inside of the place is pretty chill but no music plays to fill the space.
