My family of seven arrived on the Beer Trolley and we had the pleasure of visiting Tasty Weasel in Longmont. I was blown away by the experience. The beer selection is incredibly broad, with something for everyone. I had the chance to try a few different IPAs, and they were all delicious. They also have a great selection of hard seltzers and other fun adult beverages.
The ambiance at Tasty Weasel is incredible. The interior is spacious and inviting, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor space is especially delightful, with plenty of picnic tables and a fire pit.
The service at Tasty Weasel is outstanding. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they are always happy to make recommendations. I felt like I was in good hands from the moment I walked in the door.

Here are some specific things I loved about Tasty Weasel:

They had a great selection of IPAs, but they also had a good variety of other styles, including stouts, porters, sours, and more. Read moreWarning warning! DO NOT COME HERE WITH THOSE BOGUS FREE DRINK COUPONS FROM THE PARADE!!! They're only valid for like 4 options that are cheap and don't taste great. They don't make this very clear up front. If you go ahead and order 2 regular brews, thinking you can use the coupon, the bar lady will refuse to honor switching the drink out before you even taste it. Our bill for 2 very mediocre beers came out to a whopping $17 before gratuity. We weren't even going to stop by here except for the coupon. We've come a few times and with their outrageous food prices, it never seems worth it to us. We thought why not have a little affordable date time with the coupon with kiddo was in school. Nope! CLASSIC BAIT & SWITCH! And when you realize your customers are disappointed (I even blatantly asked if we could switch for the beers that are valid on the coupon after receiving a shocking bill), you should at least try and accommodate them. Don't use misleading language on the coupon to get people in the door. Very bad small business practices. You want the locals to want to come here - to trust you. Didn't happen. We won't be back, and I will warn everyone of this unethical use of a promotion. Go to Wibby instead! They're always up front about pricing, it's listed right on the board, and way better family friendly atmosphere. I cannot stand places that refuse to put prices up front and make you use a QR code to go to a website that also hides prices!! If a $9 mediocre beer is your thing, ok. But this place sucks if you want a quality beer at an affordable and transparent price and bar tenders who are clear about promotions and do their best to help you out when they don't know your...
Read moreThe first time I went to Oskar Blues was at their Lyons location and they had really good green chili. I live in longmont so I've been to that location a few times. Cool decor, live music, and beer. They're very proud of their beer. Not the worst or the best, I just wish they didn't put beer in every dish they serve. I used to like their wings, then they started putting beer in the sauce and I lost interest. Last time I was there I tried to find something without beer in it. Ended up trying the crab cakes. The sauce was really greasy. It's like if it doesn't have beer in it, they're not interested in making it taste good. But if you like their beer and you like beer-infused foods then this is the...
