Right out of the gate, just want to say that if anyone is annoyed that Papa Murphey's in Longmont closes at 7p, just know that the Firestone location is open until 9p. And that is who will be getting our frequent business for now on.
I am so, so frustrated with Papa Murphey's in Longmont. Both locations close at 7p, which is NUTS! We are barely getting home from work in time to even consider ordering. I tried to order online tonight as quickly as possible. Started putting the order together around 6:15p-ish online. By the time I got my family's preferences from everyone, I tried completely the order around 6:27p. And guess what? It wouldn't let me order because it would take 32 min to make which was too close to closing time. To the owners of this location (and the Hover location for that matter), it is insanely irritating that you close at 7p. And that placing an order at 6:27p is considered too late. Holy moly! Isn't this prime dinner time? So irrititating. But what made this 1,000 times worse is that I called the store at 6:27p to see if they could help put my order through and they immediately put me on hold...and never came back. I tried to call back 4 times and they would not answer. THAT pushed me over the edge and led me to write this review. Very...
Read moreThis location is very frustrating. It is staffed with all teenagers that run around with no order and are confused. Everytime I pick up pizza here I sit for no less than 20 minutes. Today it was 25 minutes in which time others came in, picked up theirs pizza and left. These were not online orders, just walk in orders like mine. While waiting for my pizza to be made I watched two adults behind the counter walk around doing nothing while the teenagers were scrambling and confused as to who was doing what. One of the teenage girls continued to pull her phone out of her pocket and text, then put her phone back in her pocket. All the while keeping on the same pair of gloves and then grabbing food to assemble the pizzas. At one point she rubbed her face with her gloves on and then put her hands in the olives. After waiting a ridiculous amount of time my pizza was finally done. Unfortunately, after baking it, we realized it was not what we ordered!
We really do like the pizza here when we get the right order, but the poor service, bad hygiene and ignorant management is causing us to reconsider this place. Bad service is one thing, disgusting teenage hygiene in my pizza is quite another. Management needs to get a handle on the teenagers and pay attention to what...
Read moreVery dissatisfied at my last experience. This pizza is looking pathetic compared to the pizzas I have had before from here. And the toppings, what little there was, was all in the middle. I spread it out and it looked like a lame pizza. Surely not worth the 15 bucks I spent and I will think twice about what pizza place I go to next.
Mama Roni's is fresh made, they bake it for you, and they are open later. I think I'll go there next time, I do recommend them over my last experience with this papa murphy's. I don't know if this kid made it but he was very young and sweeping right by my pizza. Not an overly friendly guy. Perhaps he is new and needs retraining on Papa Murphy's pizza making process on the line.
What would rectify my review and my experience is if I got this pizza refunded as it was not worth it at all and I only had a couple pieces when usually I'll eat almost the whole thing for dinner a couple nights in a row. I could have asked him to fix it but I'm sure it wouldn't be much better because clearly they were upset I ordered 38 minutes before close or something like that and I'm not going to deal with risk the retaliation to my already poor...
