
I first moved to Colorado from Pa where I had the best Farmers agent he made my move so easy and set me up with Brooke, since the move to CO I have had to remove a car from my policy. I had tried calling the office and never was able to talk to someone who could help, so I emailed Brooke and it took days for a reply. Not the best customer service for sure! I had not 1 but 2 different policies with this company. I found a better rate with a military related company since my husband is a veteran and when I canceled my policy it went smoothly so I thought. I was owed a refund from farmers for a rental policy I had paid in full with my old bank account from PA. I have since changed to a Colorado local bank and updated my bank info so I thought with Brooke in September. I have been trying to confirm with Brooke and her staff that the refund would be refunded to my new bank and was told it would be going back to the card I had used when paid for the policy which is not the correct bank any longer. I’ve called the office numerous times to be told they would call me back to confirm the bank info. No calls have been made but they can email wrong info to me. I’ve been trying to get in touch with a farmers agent, Brooke, Susan nobody seems to care once you leave the business or where your money goes I guess. These guys are perfectly pleasant face to face, and if all your t's are crossed and i's dotted you won't have problems. If something goes wrong, however, they are not in the habit of notifying their clients until that something is going to cost them, be that a missed payment, a clerical error, or a misapplied discount. For those that prefer face-to-face business it is a good idea to make special time to go in to the office, as the official closing time listed is more of an approximation which may or may not actually apply on any given day. Leaving messages is hit-or-miss as well, especially when trying to schedule an appointment to come in and resolve issues. It is not at all unlikely, especially if your issue has been long in the solving, that you won't get a call back with the appointment you requested, but a surprise call from a collections agency instead. They do the job, collect your information and your money just like any other agency, but don't expect them to go out of their way to make things easy for you, whether you are a new client, or a long term or legacy client.
