Read moreHuge gratitude and congratulations to the team at Sugar Pine for bringing such care and quality in creating a rare and wonderful customer experience! It’s one of the best restaurants in Boulder county. For those who’ve never been— you will fall in love when you eat at this magical little place! First, they care about where the food comes from—much of the menu supports and celebrates local regenerative farms. So the food is actually GOOD for you!! The salads and sandwiches and fresh squeezed juices are made with high quality ingredients, which is so hard to do in the current marketplace given economic challenges (hence why it is so rare—so thank you for doing that so well!!). Next, the atmosphere they’ve created is superb! Sitting outside in the park on a warm summer night—Pure magic! Part gourmet deli, part flower shop, part cafe & bakery, part restaurant. Amazing. Then, on weekends Brunch and nights where you can get fresh, artisanal wood-fired pizza. That’s amore! Incredible high quality comfort food — fantastic burgers, breakfast burritos, lobster rolls, crazy good desserts… And lastly, the simple human kindness and genuine hospitality of the owners…these are people who really love what they do and they show it every day. We are truly incredibly lucky to have a gem like SP...
Glad I found this place through the woman I work for! What a sweet little corner stop for the neighborhood that I totally love.
They have bread, cookies, treat bars and doggie treats baked in house daily so it always smells good when you walk in.
For those of you who are vegetarian/vegan, they have a good assortment of sides like mac & cheese, salads, hummus, crudite and soups.
There are local farms and vendors whose meats, produce and flower bouquets (fresh flower Fridays!) that they feature in their refrigerators, as well as vendors like Sweet Cow on certain days of the week. I believe it's family-owned and everyone inside is so friendly. They also just started making family portioned meals that you can pickup inside or pre-order online if you're trying to plan your meals for the week.
This is the kind of business I'd prefer to spend my money at because you really see the hard work they put in every day to ensure the...
Read moreFor the most part, I enjoyed a really tasty Asian Quinoa salad with great dressing and fresh veggies. I added "crispy tofu" for +$3 which I imagined would be cubed and quite firm, but it was limp, lightly sauteed and barely-seasoned slices of tofu instead. I asked about it and they kindly offered to fix it. Unfortunately, while the next batch was slightly more heavily sautéed, but it was still bland slices that couldn't be characterized as "crispy" by a long shot. I suggest they either change the recipe or the menu description if they want to keep this version, as it was not crispy. Other than that, the location is very shady and cute, and the staff was quite helpful. I'll go back and...
