I was super excited for an experience that I paid for on 9/1, but when I got to Longmont Social, the doors were locked and no one was inside. Therefore, I did not get what I paid for. On 9/1/24, I called the company and left a voicemail regarding the situation. On 9/3/24, Adam called me apologizing, and promised to provide me with a refund and “freebies” for their failure to notify me that they were not open. He shared that he thought someone else tried to contact me (which I know they didn’t, because I never received an email or call back) - and he said that he would follow up with me personally. Unfortunately, neither happened.
My credit card has been charged for an experience that the company did not provide - which, legally, is theft. I’m not typically someone that jumps to the internet to share a company’s faults - however, I’ve called the company numerous times and I’ve had to leave a couple voicemails without any response. On 9/5 and 9/6, I left my number and 2 email addresses that I can be contacted at, and no one has gotten back to me! I know this is a new company, but it’s been nearly a week without a refund, phone call back, or receipt of the email that Adam promised he’d send. It’s incredibly bad business to steal a customers money, promise to make it up to them personally, and then continue to screen their calls. I would not recommend this company - which is really unfortunate given that it looked like it could be a fun...
Read moreThe Longmont Social is a poorly run establishment. I went here for my birthday with a few friends to do axe throwing. We drank some beer and had fun throwing axes.
The selection of beer and wine was very limited and poor quality. Only rose wine and weirdly flavored local craft beers with a tiny selection of canned beer. Nothing tasty or worth drinking more than one of....
I ended up leaving my card when I left. I tried on 4 different occasions to stop by and pick it up during business hours, but each time they happened to be closed for private events and no one was there to answer the door or phone. Also, they double charged me for my experience. They charged me day of, and then a week later they charged me again. After multiple attempts to pick my card up and playing phone tag, they apparently mailed it to me, but I never received my card. After I notified them they double charged me, they have not returned my phone calls.
Two months later, I still do not have my credit card, there remains a double charge on my account, and they still do not answer the phone during business hours nor call me back to verify where they mailed my card and that they will remove the double charges. I am guessing they mailed my card to an old address. I have to cancel it and order a new one. I highly recommend "Axe Me Out" in Longmont for good axe throwing experiences. Steer clear of...
Read moreThe Longmont Social is exactly how a bar should be. The layout, sports on their giant big screen TV’s all the time (Steeler Bar) and offering kava and ethnobotanical teas for people who don’t drink is brilliant. The chill atmosphere and their welcoming vibe brings everyone together, whether drinking booze, kava or just eating one of the best cheeseburgers I’ve had in a decade. They have live music, a huge patio and they even offer apartments to rent above the facility if you need a place to crash. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, Hunter Blount recently; he is one hell of a guy and is extremely talented. His drive and enthusiasm for the industry is contagious as his personality is passionate, fun and all about having a good time. Check this hot spot out that will surely be the place to go to, especially...
