Always walk by this place when I go to Village at the Peaks and the delicious smells emanating from the café always attempts to lure me in. Well today is the day that I tried it. While I was at Sam's, I ordered take out to bring home for my bday dinner with my parents, it was available for me to get prior to the estimated time so that was good.
Ordered goat curry (hot) because it was listed as a chef's special, the flavour was quite good and spicy, but unfortunately there are numerous bones with no meat attached. Take caution when chewing it to not break a tooth. The rice that comes with is good too, I liked to mix the curry into it and also the naan. I would like this with more meat to bone ratio, I'm not sure why, but every place I've order goat curry there seems to be always quite a bit of meatless bones in it...so maybe that's normal? Maybe goats don't have much muscle or something, I'm not sure...
Lamb biriyani was listed as a popular item, it was fairly good, but the lamb is quite tough and dry.
Tandoori chicken was okay, I always enjoyed it when I go to Indian food restaurants. There was nice amount of veggies, but probably could be cooked longer to be a bit softer. The chicken thigh was good, but the other pieces were kind of dry.
Naan was delish.
Portions are good for the price. In terms of taste it was good, the meat/bones could use...

The menu is a delightful exploration of Indian cuisine, featuring a perfect blend of traditional and modern dishes. I recommend starting with the samosas, chilli Idli and the Pani puri (Golgappa) – both bursting with flavor and expertly seasoned.
For the main course, the Malai Kofta is a standout; creamy tomato sauce that left my taste buds dancing with joy. The biryani was equally impressive, each grain of rice perfectly cooked and fragrant with spices. Don’t forget to pair your meal with their freshly baked Garlic naan, which is simply divine.
The service at Tiffins India Cafe was just as incredible as the food. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to provide recommendations based on our preferences. They made us feel welcome and valued, which added to the overall experience.
Whether you're a seasoned fan of Indian cuisine or new to the flavors, Tiffins India Cafe is a gem that will impress. It’s more than just a meal; it’s an experience that celebrates the richness of Indian culture and gastronomy. I can't...
Read moreIndian has probably become my favorite food over the years. I actively look out places that are excellent. Longmont just happens to have BOTH of my favorites now. I won’t mention the other out of respect for this one, but it’s on Main Street and it’s also amazing.
So that said, this place is amazing with one exception that holds it back from my top spot, I’ll get to that later. Coworkers and I stopped for lunch. Everything we had looked and tasted amazing. OMG, their Naan; ON POINT! I personally had the Lamb Kebob as a change of pace from my usual(Vindaloo). Was an outstanding flavor explosion of meat and vegetables. My coworkers had Biryani, Masala and the mixed grill all of which were equally praised. If you’re looking for that south east pacific deliciousness, this will conciliate that craving.
My ONE criticism is the heat levels. Maybe she misunderstood my order but I don’t think so as my wording is almost universally understood in the foreign-spicy-foods-restaurants as “I want this to burn entering and exiting my body’. I ordered “Indian Hot” and as someone who does this all the time, what was given to me was 100% medium heat level. Maybe there was misunderstanding because she said “level 1-5” but as I previous...
