Iâve always loved Cowboy Chicken, but after todayâs experience, I wonât ever return â especially while the current manager (who told me his name was Tim) is employed. I ordered directly through their website for delivery to my job. When my food arrived, I was missing both my drink and my side of beans. I called the store, and the young woman who answered said the manager was at the bank but would call me back. While waiting, I called Uber since they were listed as the delivery provider, but after being transferred around, they told me I had to go through the restaurant because the order wasnât placed through them. I called Cowboy Chicken back, and the same girl said the manager told her it wasnât their problem. I asked to speak to him directly. After being put on hold for several minutes, he finally answered. When I explained the situation calmly, he rudely told me it wasnât his responsibility the delivery driver left it and that I needed to deal with the delivery service. When I said Iâd reach out to corporate, he said, âThatâs fine,â and then hung up on me. After that, no one answered when I called back. This was the worst customer service Iâve ever experienced. I wasnât asking for anything free â just a refund for the items I paid for and didnât receive. Instead, I wasted my entire lunch break trying to get help and was treated with total disrespect.
Cowboy Chicken, do better. Treat your customers with the basic decency they deserve. We pay to much money to not receive what we pay for with no resolution. The food I did receive was amazing the customer service was disgusting! My job normally uses them to cater our employees that...
   Read moreI highly disappointed in my service from the service that I received a month ago. I even emailed corporate and they played around with my emails back-and-forth, but Never helped me.
This is what happened. I went into the store and I was the only black person in the store. There were several families that came before, and after me that were in large groups. I made my order before them, and they all receive meals before me. I went back to the counter multiple times to tell them that I was just asking for chicken and two sides, but I still couldnât get them to get finished with my order. I looked at some of the trays of the orders that were coming after me with those families and they had some of the food items that I had. please hurry up my order 30 to 40 minutes later. I finally got my food and some of those people that came in later than I did Ordered were finishing the meals and leaving.
I followed up with corporate so I wouldnât have to do this bad review but they said that they wanted to get the receipt for me. The corporate person with Tony Evans, and he was some IT and technical support for the franchise. But he never finished up helping me. Now somewhat of franchisee. But he never finished up helping me. Now somewhat more than a month and a half away, I still havenât gotten anything or response. I never use the race card, but it was really very evident that no one wanted to help me despite me requesting more help and asking where my order was. And then I told her to put it on my rewards and that was never credit to my rewards either.

   Read moreReally disappointing experience overall tonight. First, it took over an hour to get my food. I called my order in, and they said it would take 30 minutes before it was ready. So I arrived about 45 minutes later to pick it up. They said they were still working on it, and I waited another 25 minutes for my food. When I was about to ask if my food was still cooking, someone who worked there asked my name to check on my order. It was ready to go and when they handed it to me it didn't feel too warm, and I think it was likely sitting there for at least 10 minutes.
I would have rated higher than 2 stars if it were just the long wait as I get that mistakes happen and they were a little busy, but the food wasn't as great as it usually is either. The roasted broccoli was really dry, and the Mexican street corn was pretty bland. I also discovered when I got home they left out the butter and cinnamon sugar that were supposed to go with the sweet potato. The chicken and sweet potato were at least cooked well.
