Quiznos — Restaurant in Lorain

Only been to a handful of these, in ohio and other states even when my bf was a truck driver and all my experiences were so bad I've never been back to any of them. At one, the girl glared and smirked and had a snotty, actually vicious attitude, the whole time (I didnt have my glasses and my bf had to read me the menu.) There were ants and flying bugs visibly in the case. The sandwiches were more expensive and smaller than subway, not that I said so. In another state, I decided I would give it another try. We had my 2 year old daughter with us in the truck. It's hard to find many places to stop in a truck and she was very hungry. I also wanted to try a drink from sonic cuz I had never had one (still havent). We were going to get a drink from sonic and our sandwiches from quiznos. But the lady screamed at us for parking there and going to go to sonic to grab a drink to go first. I called in there to complain to the manager and told her we were going to buy sandwiches there and she screamed at me that we were not. So they lost business. It was insensitive to our needs and I was angry for my daughters sake. I think they are all owned by and hire the worst kind of people in the world and all these years later I have NEVER went to another. My fiance and I were in the area up from Columbus and since we don't have a Quiznos near us we wanted to stop in and try some of our favorites from years ago when these stores were much more prevalent. Right away I noticed the store was as clean as can be, within steps of walking in we were greeted by the couple working behind the counter. Though we took some time looking over the menu, at no point did we feel rushed. Once we did place our order the staff was very pleasant. While our order was being made, at no point did I have to ask for more toppings like I feel I have to do at other similar establishments. Once our order was rung up we dove in and were so happy we stopped here. The food tasted amazing, the veggies were as fresh as can be, and the steak I had for my sandwich tasted GREAT!! Next time we're up in this area again we'll definitely be stopping...

The food is always 100% incredible! However, the service needs a bit of work. This location closes for dine in at 6pm, which is understandable. I arrived at or about 5:40 hoping I could eat in given I am not from the area. When I sat down after placing my order I was told the dining room was already closed even though it wasn't 6pm yet. I tried to explain to the gentleman behind the counter that I wasn't from the area so therefore I would have to eat in my vehicle if I couldn't dine in and that it wasn't even 6pm yet it was still close to 10 minutes away. This didn't make any difference and I had to take it to my car anyway. Other than that and the fact that even when you can dine in you're only allowed to refill your drink once, which I find kind of cheap on their end, the experience here is great otherwise.
