If I could rate a zero star I would. Customer service was terrible. We like to try new restaurants every now and then. Recently we have been using doordash on accounting our second vehicle is currently in a shop having work done, so the delivery service is a plus right now. I called the restaurant after half of our order was not included when Doordash had delivered it. I spoke with a woman named Elsa (hardly understood what I was saying because of the evident language barrier). I informed her of the concern that half of our order was not received, she proceeded to come off as argumentative telling me she packed the Doordash order and she put everything inside. Then once she looked at the order on her computer she indeed did not pack some of our items-one of them being a meal we ordered for our four year old son. Once I had told her one of the items she failed to pack was a meal for our child she stated she’d give me a store/restaurant credit...One: that’s not fixing the issue of providing a meal for a child this evening. Second: why would we want a store credit, instead of money back? We do not want to order again there because Elsa had such bad customer service. Third: Elsa said for us to come get the kids meal then, which completely defeats the purpose of us using Doordash tonight. We were in for the night. So that meant that my Husband had to go out after working ALL day just to get food that if that was the case could have went and picked up in the first place. Instead we chose to use Doordash so he could come home and enjoy a meal that we did not have to cook nor have to go out pick up then wait for. The best part is the food is not anything special it is basic Chinese our four year old could have cooked better. Sorry such a long review but all the details needed to be disclosed. After Elsa argued with my husband when he went to pick up the missing items for the inconvinece she included one egg roll and one rangoon. They are extremely stingy and greedy. They just lost four members in one household that would have faithfully ordered from them had they made it right with something of greater value and not had such bad customer service.

Also their hours state they close at 9pm on Sundays and they actually close at 8:30p per Elsa’s...

I order Shrimp Fried Rice w/extra shrimp from another location however they were closed for vacation so I decided to try another location and decided to go with Golden Crown since its on my way home from work. The reviews looked good so I thought I could make this a good spot to get our weekly fried rice. I was WRONG. Saturday evening, I called and order 2 Qtrs of shrimp fried rice w/extra shrimp. Young lady said it was $16. I said this is with extra shrimp right, please don't forget the extra shrimp she then says "oh, its $17" so I said fine, be there in 10 minutes. I get there and the gentleman behind the counter says "you asked for extra shrimp, how much extra shrimp" I was a little taken back because I thought we already covered this over the phone. He asked "$1 or $2 more?" I said "$2" then he takes my bag of already packed food back to the kitchen while the young lady now charges me $20! I get my food and go home ... they put, literally, 5 extra shrimp on top of the rice! I wish I took a picture!!!! In totally I had about 10 small shrimp in each quart. I'll never go...

I am eating the shrimp fried rice right now, because unfortunately my favorite restaurant is closed due to relocation so I decided to give this place another shot. My shrimp tastes like it has been exposed to some sort of cleaning product/solution. It's so bad that I wasn't able to finish my plate. The whole family is unhappy with dinner. Sorry. 😢 One good thing I can say is I recognize the taste of the eggrolls. It's the eggrolls I grew up on and once loved and still do. They used to be sold at the Lorain location but I noticed a change in the taste the past few years. I was happy to find them there. It's the reason why I stopped eating Golden Crown years ago.
