The Original Steaks and Hoagies - Lorain — Restaurant in Lorain

Hello Foodies this is Steven the foodie guy here what a disappointment I had a large original cheesesteak it was so same size as my mother's small what a rip-off The Cheesesteak itself the meat it was very poor quantity they chopped it up so it looks like diced tomatoes or something like that that's not a real cheesesteak you should be ashamed of yourself saying that you are the original your meat does not look like Pat's Cheesesteak or Gino's in downtown Philadelphia will I ever come back here again hell no what a waste of $17 for me.what a bad ,lousy cheesesteak,so finely diced the meat the meat is supposed to be the star of the show not a dud the only thing that was actually a straight line was the bread nice and soft and a little bit chewy. So today for a work lunch we ordered from Original steaks and hoagies in Lorain. First of all the food is never even close to being ready at the time they say. Second of all the guy working there was extremely rude. Got there 15 minutes after the time given and he comes out and all he said was sit down. I waited another minutes or so before he brought the bags out. He dropped them on the counter and all he said was here. I told him to have a day and got no reply. When I got back to work one of the sandwiches was completely wrong and they shorted us an order of loaded tater tots. It took 4 times calling and getting hung up on to finally talk to someone. Very rude on the phone. When me and one of my coworkers finally got to sit down to eat both of our burgers were ice cold and raw in the middle. Definitely never going...

This was our 2nd visit to the restaurant, hoping the food would improve. The service wasn't bad, but the restaurant showed signs of wear even as new as it is. Broken chairs, wobbly tables, dinged + scratched walls. Salt + pepper shakers were empty + we had to check 3 tables before we found ketchup. Plenty of malt vinegar if that is your preference.

The cheesesteaks were to have been prepared fresh, but the sandwiches arrived cold and one had an unidentifiable item on it. We had to ask for the fries "well done" so they would arrive fully cooked and hot. The pretzel we ordered came out covered in a layer of grease and the dipping cheese was solid. If you don't drink Coke, Diet Coke or Mountain Dew - you were given the option of a generic fountain drink.
