On December 14th 2023 I purchased a ps5 for my son for Christmas and on December 26th it started shutting off I called on December 28th and was told I should have purchased a warranty and when I asked for corporate contact information I was told there was no phone number that I had to write them a letter. I went to a place to see if it can be repaired and was told the CPU is damaged and that there were screws and the warranty sticker was missing from the game. I went to another game stop and was told to try customer service and that they have a 15 day return policy and they extended their gift return through January. Yet here I sit with a broken PlayStation and about to be out of 1000$ because I was sold a broken game and they did nothing about it a broken game that isnât even fixable and I am a single mother coming up with 500 for my sons Christmas gift was not easy I spent my bill money for him to have been given a broken game and I couldnât afford to get it fixed until now just to be told itâs not fixable. Jason COMPLETELY kept his game playing at full volume while my fiance was trying to ask him questions. He walked us over to what they had and said...."I would just go on Amazon and see what they have." Monday of this week I decided I am just going to get the dock they had in stock at this location. Jason was there again and did NOT say one word to us to even welcome us into the store. I knew what I wanted so I went to the back of the store to get it. I was standing there talking to my fiance to make sure it was the right decision and Jason COMPLETELY RUDELY walks right in front of us to push some merchandise aside and blocks what we are looking at. It isn't the biggest GameStop in the world I'm sure, but in the smaller space they take up, there's a lot of amazing and fun things there. From backpacks that are game related, or even anime related. To plushies, to clothing, to novelty and or memorabilia, games, game systems, accessories, like mad. I would personally like if they would add legacy systems to their store. Simply due to everyone still having them to some degree. If not at bare minimum, legacy games in store. More specifically, boxed and on the shelf to see clearly if I see that, this'll be a 5â store flat out, no holds barred. Definitely a great location to check out.
