I came here because my friend recommended it. From my service to the food; worst experience and mexican food ever. I can't even tell you my waitress' name because she never gave it to us. She didn't know the menu-being a server for 6 years I understand everyone starts somewhere BUT she literally didn't even know what an Appetizer was! Or Jarritos. Why is she on the floor serving if she doesn't know? I had to explain what an App was and then show her our entree order in the menu because she didn't know what I was saying! (and we were both speaking english.) She didn't know what beer my boyfriend wanted we had to point that out as well and THEN they didn't even have his beer or horchata...and its 5pm at a mexican restaurant....but you don't have horchata? Okay I brushed that off...then our Steak and Cheese nachos came and they were just that. Watery white queso and steak on chips. That's it... so don't expect real cheese, or even a good amount of cheese, or tomatoes, sour cream, guac..don't expect that on your nachos...then my boyfriend's shrimp enchiladas come... they are more like shrimp in a tortilla with that same queso sauce on it. Dont expect anything else on it. The worst. I had to ask for water 3 times and silverware and straws. It was just a mess. I will never in my life...
Read moreThe staff greeted us as soon as we walked through the door. The restaurant was bright, colorful, and clean. The waiter was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The menu options were diverse but not overwhelming. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the complimentary chips and salsa while we waited for our food to arrive. Our entrees were delivered to us in no time and were still sizzling hot. I tried a dish new to me, the Nachos Fajita. The steak and veggies were nice and tender while delicious queso coated the top of the nacho chips. The sour cream and salsa added the "cherry" on top. It saved time and gained crunchy flavor by eating nachos topped with ingredients instead of making up each tortilla individually. The dish was made how I ordered it, without tomatoes. I really enjoyed it and would definitely order it again. The second entree was called De Luxe. It was two different burritos that were huge. One contained flavourful beef and beans and the other juicy chicken and beans. They were topped with a nice helping of lettuce, tomato, and sour cream. Every bite was delicious. Both dishes were generous for the price. The Agaves Mexican Grill is now on our favorite...
Read moreWe had a lot of trouble trying to order food for pickup. If you call over the phone they have very heavy accents and it was very hard to understand them and for them to understand us. And then when we went to pick it up they got mad because I told them the order wasn't right and they wanted us to just take it and pay for it because they had already made it. Plus we were trying to order two meals and the person who took the order said we only asked for one. Anyway the point is if I order there again I wouldn't call I would just order in person and wait for it to be made. Now the food was ok not as good as the last time we had gone, but that was dine in. The way they package the food this time ( vs the last time we ordered to go ) was different and I feel it made the food soggy and almost like they tried to water down the queso cheese sauce. Plus before they put the lettuce on the side whereas this time it was in the same container making it soggy too. Just a very bad visit in general which is sad because we have been there 3-4 times before and it was at least a 3.5 - 4 🌟 in our book. But this...
