If I could leave a damn zero star review I would. I assisted my grandmother with the purchase of a brand new dryer, which ended up being more expensive once it was rung out and advertised online, but so be it then informed us we had to purchase a new gas line and a couple other odds and ends included with the installation once again understandable. We were informed that they would be giving us a call when they are ready to deliver to her house, however, no phone call was made. The delivery drivers just showed up out of nowhere went downstairs told her that the gas shut off valve was too old, which is reasonable then however, they just took off and said to call when it’s fixed and then without her permission or knowledge left the dryer in the garage, blocking the garage without asking permission or even letting my grandmother know they were leaving it there. They knocked over tools and set the Dryer down in a puddle of dirt and oil that was needing to be cleaned up. I have called the store multiple times now and no one at the store seems to care about this or are willing to help my elderly grandmother. The fact they would leave the dryer outside instead of taking it to the basement is absolutely mind-boggling to me. Is this how Home Depot treats the elderly?? , absolutely disgusting and disgraceful. I’ve left multiple messages with the general manager and have argued with the store manager who only wants to brush the responsibility on someone else claiming that they’re not sure they can get someone to return to properly deliver the thousand dollar dryer that is now sitting outside. Read moreI ordered a vanity from Home Depot and the delivery guys did not honor my choice of delivery said they “couldn’t” bring the vanity through the front door of my house, then upon opening my vanity they delivered it to me with the top broken and the wood cracked, I called Home Depot and they refunded my money but left the broken vanity in my garage and said they would not be coming to pick it up and that it was my responsibility to go out of my way and take it to the store. So I re ordered the vanity again and this time after about a full month and me making multiple phone calls again they determined that the vanity was lost in transit so they refunded me once again.. at this point I have been without a bathroom for 3 1/2 months due to Home Depot’s mistakes so I call to order a THIRD vanity after they tell me they will give me a discount which came to about $80 in total. I have personally paid more money in cancelling contractors due to their mistakes and wasted WAY more than $80 worth of my time trying to get this situation resolved so they proceed to put me on the phone with Home Depot’s “leadership” to try and get the situation resolved and she didn’t even ask what kind of experience I had and had no idea what was going on. She told me that she would give me the 15% discount and declined helping in any other way didn’t even offer to come remove the broken vanity out of my garage that I ordered 3 months ago. So after the tens and tens of thousands I have spent at Home Depot I will not be returning to spend any more money in the future they can keep their 15% “discount” for my three and a half months of despair due to their mistakes and ill go pay full price elsewhere on...
Read moreSeriously such a terrible experience. After over an hour in the store, we got pointed in 3 different directions to place a lumber order that we had. Two hours later, we were able to place the order and added delivery to it for the week after. The customer service rep said they would call the day before to let us know what time they would be delivering. That day we had no call. Called at 12pm they said it was out for delivery. Called at 3pm they said it would get delivered by 6. Called at 6pm because our delivery never showed up, they said they tried to deliver it to our house but was unable to (not sure why when we said to drop it off by the gate). Then they stated the delivery driver showed up to the store and left because he had no one to help load his truck. Called the manager a total of 5 times to get answers, he stated it could possibly get delivered the next day but couldn’t make any promises. Okay so I paid over $200 for delivery cost & hired a contractor for the work and now have to chalk up the money and figure out how I’m supposed to get the order and the contractor back on schedule. It’s seriously ridiculous how they wanted to make it our fault at first. Now currently trying to fight for the money back and if it goes anything like what we’ve dealt with so far we’ll be waiting a few months for it.
