Sorry for the long post but this place has really gone downhill post-pandemic. My family and I used to come here a lot and it was our favorite KBBQ in the valley. The last three times we have gone it’s been very subpar. Each visit, the place was pretty empty because we showed up relatively early on a weekday. Unfortunately, that didn’t mean we got great service. One day the meat was bland and dry, like it had been left out the night before. The next time the chicken was way too salty. Portions have gone down and customer service has gone way way down. The final time we came will be the last time we visit. The waiters around our section (which included three other tables with customers) would hardly look in our direction, most of the time we sat there trying to get someone to come in our direction to order more proteins or banchan. It’s not like we excessively called them, I don’t think, considering this place is all you can eat. Previously, before you were finished with your first round of meat they would be attentive and ask if you needed more of something. But now once you get their attention the waiters have severe attitude (apart from like two waiters who were actually incredibly nice and took care of their sections amazingly). Final note, I understand with Covid there is a time limit of how long you can be there, and I’ve been to places that kindly come and let you know your time is almost up. The hostess came up to our table, we had already paid but I was just waiting for my family member to wash up to head out, and she very rudely told us “you need to leave, your time is up”. Unfortunately we’re not coming back, I’d rather drive farther down to K-Town or go to Gen KBBQ...
Read moreHighly recommend trying this spot! Plenty of parking, well priced, clean inside and out, the food is very fresh, good flavors, the service is great, I would come back again and again!
Saw this place on TV on 3/1/20 and decided I needed to go check it out. The travel show I was watching really sold the place and made it look awesome. As coincidence would have it, I have been looking for an AYCE Korean BBQ spot for a couple of months now.
I went for a late lunch on the Monday after the story aired. Got there around 1pm, the restaurant had a few guests, but plenty of open tables. I was promptly seated, handed the menu and was asked by the host if I had ever been there before. He asked me if I was familiar with Korean BBQ, and how the ordering process worked. I told him yes, and then he took my drink order and said he would return for my food order.
This is an all-you-can-eat spot, and I planned to pace myself and order as many of the small items as I could taste in one sitting. The waiter came back with my water+🍋 and some dipping sauces. I placed my food order, he fired up the grill, and disappeared.
A Separate server came by with my mixed fried rice, five garnishes, and the meats that I had ordered. I pulled some tongs from the basket and began putting my meats on the hot grill. Within seconds the aroma of grilled shrimp started to fill my nostrils. Next I slapped on the garlic beef and spicy garlic chicken.
Everything was cooked perfect just the way I like it. I ordered a second third and fourth wave of meats. Everything was great. Fresh ingredients, great flavor, prompt and courteous service.
Please enjoy the pics...
Read moreFirst off, I heard of this place from the morning show(I believe) on KROQ, it was Kevin and Bean and they said it was some of the best kbbq out there with pinball machines! Since I only have very few experiences with kbbq and that's thanks to my gf for introducing me to it, I was like what the heck I'll give it a shot. It was about an hour and half drive but that's cause of traffic, parking was no issue but we made it 3 minutes late and our reservation on Yelp was removed which is completely understandable and they still seated us instantly. That was great, the customer service was great, and the meats came rather quickly but the drink we ordered didn't, also some of the sides like the ramen and the egg took a little long but they were worth the wait. I dont like egg but I really liked the steam egg they had, I dont eat ramen but the ramen we got was very delicious!! I also really only like the brisket when we have gone to other kbbq restaurants but I really liked the Beef Bulgogi here, it was mostly all good, didnt like the garlic chicken we ordered and the spicy noodles, the texture was weird, but overall it was very fantastic and definitely by far the best Kbbq restaurant I've been to!! I will definitely be going again and recommending it to anyone who likes kbbq. Delicious all around and the service was great. Wish I could've left a bigger tip, there's always next time! #KBBQ #Koreanbbq #korean #bbq...
