BOBARITA — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Take a star due to high prices. So another place I know of in la charges $8.40 for 5 taiyaki and here its like $13 something. I did order on 3rd party app for delivery but I called and asked how much things were if I went in. The taiyaki which are fish shaped pancake type yummy-ness filled with things like nutella or red bean or other stuff, are good here I got the nutella ones I ordered 10 taiyaki and I spent about $30 (before taxes and delivery fees) plus I got a "croffle" which is a croissant waffle ($5.50), that was really good! The texture is perfect just like a yummy croissant. It tasted fresh even after delivery and they put nutella on that also maybe a little too much nutella but still delicious! They have other options for the croffle like churro or cheese. The bottom side of the croffle looked shiny and felt a bit sticky but it was so yummy! I think I would return to try another croffle or some milk tea or smoothie. The taiyaki is the only one I can find in the valley but I think I'll wait to go to the other place that serves taiyaki and soft serve in an ah-boong (fish shaped cone). So yes go out and try this place it tastes fresh...

Summary: Waited 15 minutes to get 1 shake and 1 Milk Tea due to my order being forgotten.

I visited BobaRitaon 2/20, and ordered and paid at 11:52am. Minutes later, I hear the notification for Uber Eats, and employee starts working on this order. My order had not started. Next, I watched 2 groups enter and order. Employee had still not started on my order.

After the Uber Eats order was fulfilled, I watched the 2 people who arrived AFTER I did receive their order. When I asked about mine, it was clear that he forgot. He paused and said “Um, your drink takes longer, sorry” this was at 12:03.

My order doesn’t take longer, it was neglected. He started on the Uber Eats order before he started on mine.

I finally received my order at 12:07, 15 minutes after I ordered, and everyone who had ordered from the time I arrived being fulfilled. My order was ignored. It took 4 minutes to complete my order that consisted of 2 drinks, it was unnecessary for me to wait that long, and then to only be given excuses.

I work nearby so I come in every now and then to get boba for my siblings and I. I came in yesterday and thought it was gonna be another normal day. After having my order taken I waited for my drink, it was pretty busy and there were a few people waiting already. Shortly after we hear one of the workers belittling one of her employees who looked like she was in highschool. Im use to seeing this treatment from customers but from your manager is just not ok. I wondered if I was the only one in this situation who thought it was wrong but luckily I wasn’t. I checked the reviews to see if this was an issue that happens frequently and that’s when I saw a review on the exact situation yesterday!! I also saw the owner reply and hopefully you see this but I just want say that I love the boba and love how the store is open till 10(Please don’t ever change). What I don’t love is seeing someone being treated like what I saw yesterday and I understand everyone has bad days but make sure to keep those issues...
