The Toasted Bun Yesterday, my wife and I decided that we were going to take my son out to eat for breakfast or brunch. This morning, we began to try to figure out where, so it was either go to where we know we like the food or try something new. After looking over the menu for The Toasted Bun, a place that we have wanted to try, we decided to try something new. Narrowing down a choice off their extensive menu was a little rough since there were so many items that just jumped out at me. Our server Gladis was visibly busy but still attentive and friendly. She was backed up by the busboy who also made sure that I didn’t run out of coffee. My son went with The Works Burger with only lettuce and mushrooms. My wife went with the Apple Cinnamon Waffles and a side of Breakfast Potatoes. I was torn at first because I saw they had Biscuits and Gravy, one of my all time favorite dishes. However, I ended up going with the Steak and Eggs, rare with three sunny side up eggs and Breakfast Potatoes. I also ordered a stack of Corn Pancakes because I had to try them. Everything was great! The Corn Pancakes reminded me of the best part of a corn dog. Thank you Gladis and The Toasted Bun, I am positive that we will be back.

Not really happy with my orders for take-out from this place. They do have good customer service when I pick up my food, but the quality of the food is not there. The banana pancakes this time were super burnt. Not tasty at all, and the Styrofoam container was melted. I didn't take a picture of it, but it's happened more than twice before. Tuna melt was not good either. Taste was off. Not enough cheese, greasy. My husband liked the chicken burrito. The club sandwich was ok. The way it was cut, though, was uneven. So, the pieces got more or less than others(why shredded cheese?) My daughter liked their traditional cheeseburger, but the fries were supper greasy and mushy. We have ordered from here a few times, but only half of those times or less I've been satisfied with my food. This is our last time ordering from here. Maybe eating in the restaurant will be a different experience, but the quality of the food should be the same(great taste/great presentation) regardless of how it gets to you.

My goodness. And here I thought I'd never have a nice diner spot by the house to enjoy again. Then here comes the Toasted Bun! First off, from the start the atmosphere is inviting. Cozy lighting, vibrant music and engaging staff set the stage for your tastebuds. Seeing as it was my first time here, I had to try their breakfast. I had their Chilaquiles, and Corn Pancakes. Our server was amazing, she was on it. She seemed nervous, but it made her speedy and efficient service that more adorable and amazing! Then the food came. The chilaquiles had the right amount of spice and flavor. But the star of the show, was their specialty, the corn pancakes. Unfortunately, i can't remember much. Once the airy starch hit my tongue, I knocked out, only to awaken to an empty plate. Only hints of heavenly sweetness and savory butter lingered. I'll try to bring some smelling salts with me next time so i can review their enchiladas and burgers...😅

I had been wanting to try this spit that replaced the local Deny's. So glad I did! I took my granddaughter for breakfast. Since it has an indoor and outdoor we took the option to eat outside. It was a beautiful morning. Once we were set up I took note of a few positive things. The interior was remodeled a very clean feel and appearance. Simple peaceful decor. A very nice upgrade. The staff seemed on their toes and pleasant. It took a bit long to get our order taken but the man who took our drink request was totally on point and had a very nice demeanour. He brought our request right away and the same when I asked for something additionally. The server that took our order got it out fast and absolutely perfectly with every detail we asked for we asked for done correctly. She also had an absolutely positive attitude and was helpful. The food was perfect and delicious. My granddaughter kept saying such a yummy meal email it was truly perfect. Another thing that I have to command the entire staff on they were 2 gentlemen with a boom Box who sat at 1 of their tables. It was pretty clear they had no intention of ordering but 3 different staff members came out periodically and asked them if there was anything they could get them they said they were waiting for another person but the entire time I was there no one showed up. These staff members continue to be helpful and polite. They did not ask them to remove themselves and quite honestly they weren't bothering anybody Or overly loud. A tough situation in today's times and it was handled extremely well. Treating people with dignity and not judgment was a very important example of the way people and businesses should try to be. I highly recommend this place for all the reasons above and will be returning myself as it is a local watering hole. For all the people that think they miss Denny's check this place out it is a refreshing replacement. If anybody from the establishment reads this there is one big thing that needs attention the woman's bathroom it smells pretty bad. And there...
