We recently visited Sam’s Eatery, a charming family-owned restaurant, with our kids. We opted for their family tray, designed to serve 10-12 people, which included salads, hummus, and the most tasty cucumber yogurt. Everything was fresh and delicious, delighting both the adults and children alike. The lule kabob was a bit spicy, but the rice was perfectly cooked and thoroughly enjoyable. They also served the thinnest and freshest lavash bread I’ve ever had. We concluded our meal with their authentic Armenian coffee, which was a perfect ending to our meal. Read moreI was driving to one of my favorite restaurants in all of LA, Sam’s Kabob, when I passed a familiar sight of wafting roadside mesquite smoke. To my delight, I turned around and saw a refreshed awning at a less than stellar old shawarma joint and realized something exciting happened; Sam found a new joint.
Not sure what’s going on with the old location, but it seems to be sold and the new place is a bit smaller but clean and delightful.
Sam was there and the kabob, rice and salad quality and flavor remain absolutely stellar.
