Bar Toscana — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I would have left a better review for this place, but my experience with the hostess left a negative impression. My friend and I were walking around and spontaneously decided to stop by the bar. We arrived around 5 PM (11/16), and the bar was completely empty. When the hostess asked if we wanted to sit at the bar, I mentioned that we’d prefer a table. She responded that all the tables were reserved, which felt odd given how empty the space was.

We decided to sit at the bar and ended up having drinks and dinner there. During our time, I noticed that only three tables had 'reserved' signs, and by the time we left 1.5 hours later, only two tables were occupied. It was disappointing to be denied a table for no clear reason.

This experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Not sure why we were refused a table—maybe we didn’t look fancy enough for the hostess? Either way, I won’t be coming back. If you decide to visit, make sure you meet the standards of the small-brained hostess so you can actually...

Had an amazing experience here for our date night! Delicious house music beats accompanied by a friendly staff. Alessandra is such a nice hostess, and Natasha was our super sweet server!
