Every new spot in this area that opens up , especially in our neighborhood, needs to be given a fair tryout ! The lack of good and stable spots to eat around here have always put a damper on culinary within the Mid City infrastructure . But this place nailed it bold and brave ! I didn’t think it would work, they took a failed burger stand and turned it into something this community really could use. The first burrito the “ Chavella” I tried was just average, so I went back to the manager who was very attentive to my feedback and told me the restaurant was having startup pains. He offered me to try them back again and worked on their recipe to refine this Burrito into a masterpiece. The next time they nailed it! They took into account some better quality control , and the packaging and presentation was beautiful. The spicy lemon salsa complimented the “Chavella” very nicely. I am so happy I invested my time into this brand . It is very rare that management these days takes customer feedback seriously , and all these new little spots are golden investments among our community and must be given a fair chance and be treated with kid gloves. New spots like this should not be taken for granted, especially with all the startup costs, city permits and patronage at risk of fragility. Welcome...

I had my first bite of pork in about 8 years at Best Damn Burrito when I elected to go with the vegan option for the La Neta, but was given the standard bacon option. I probably wouldn't have written a review as I respect mistakes happen, but I was apparently the third or fourth person to have it happen to them and it wasn't even 9am.
So my recommendation is to split out the vegan option under a separate name as the team is clearly mistaking the two options, leading to several people mistakenly eating pork when it may be against their religion, a dietary allergy, or not in their dietary preferences.
For what it's worth, the burrito size is underwhelming for the price.
