Birrieria Lupita #2 — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I ate in there what I think must have been 9 months ago. We stood in line to order from a large menu, then sat at one of maybe 8 tables. I had a birria de chibo combo (goat stew in broth with rice and beans) that was served with a bowlette of pico de galo ( or was it a more liquid salsa?) and either tortillas or chips or both. As I remember, the price was in the neighborhood of $11-$12, no drinks. Everything tasted good or really good, but birria, the main dish, was excellent!!! Soft, juicy, meat easing off the smallish bones, and lots of it! Most definitely worth the wait (15-20 minutes, as I recall.) I was a little skeptical to eat here since I've never tried there food, well I'm glad I did food is absolutely delicious I got the Birria Combination good amount of food the meat is soft and tender, both my daughter and son got the tacos de azada I expected two little tacos but to my surprise they are huge and with good amount of azada, my hubby got the Birria en Caldo de Chivo good amount of meat the caldo was tasty and not runny or watery also it comes with a good amount of homemade tortillas. I don’t recommend this restaurant. First when you come in it does not look clean. Second, they took more than 35 min to take our food to the table. We order birria and it was NOT good.
