Boba Grande — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I love the vibe at this Boba Grande location on Olympic & 3rd Avenue. This location is very cozy and immaculate and I love their A/C (it reminds me of one of my favorite boba shops in Seoul).

Their grande (large) drinks are perfect for a hot day (or if you're in the mood for boba regardless of the weather). I ordered their grande Matcha Frappe with Almond Milk and boba. The lady behind the counter was very courteous and offered me a stamp card. I knew from her energy that I'll become a regular customer here. She was honest about the boba not being ready as I ordered, but that's okay: I was willing to wait.

I only waited less than 5 minutes for my drink to be ready. When it was ready, I took some photos and poked my straw to give it a try. I definitely tasted the matcha and was paired well with the fresh boba. Perhaps next time, the boba could be sweeter with more brown sugar. Other than that, it was still chewy and fresh. Boba Grande is way better than Boba Time! So if you're stuck between choices, opt for Grande.

The large comes in a highly deliverable—um, large cup. Compared to Boba Time, it's more manageable.

The boba is nice and chewy.

And, there is food. Well, something called taiyaki. It's stuffed waffle in form of a fish. There are sweet (red bean, Nutella) and savory (pepperoni pizza) for example.

Today I got the Thai Milk boba tea and was great—I will order it less sweet of possible but it satisfied my needs.

But next time, I'll stick with my new usual, the House...

I ordered online through Ubereats and I just want to say you guys go above and beyond other boba places. The bag was cute and insulated most other places don't worry about keeping the drinks cold and usually they're all watered down or melted once delivered but my drinks were as if I had just pick them up in person. I got the tumbler option the cup was huge ! Cute too. I think you guys just became my favorite boba spot 5...
