I live across this park and walk my dog around here daily. It's a small but beautiful park surrounded by green grass and ample trees that looks to be a century old that all sits on this hill. Typically during the day you'll usually see lots of families with their kids and people walking their dog. Not to say it's that it's unusual at night to see people gathered here either. People in this area will walk their dog regardless of what the time of day may be. Its very family friendly. At the top of the hill towards center you'll find benches that circle and surround the playground pit. The playground equipment is well kept with all the metal bars still glossy in it's original paint. The playground has the usual jungle gym setup on pitted sand, a slide, and a swing set. On this hill moving down below the stairs and passing grassy field most weekends the picnic tables would be reserved for families celebrating their event. Read moreReally clean and nice park.The only downside is that there are no restrooms nearby unless of course you live in the residential areas. Not really big either, but it's great for kids because the playground is pretty nice as well! Many people do bring their dogs out here, and sometimes they are not on the leash.So be aware. A couple.of picnic tables available. On weekends there's often celebrations going on so.you may not get a table if you don't go early....

Tall trees around the park and provide natural shade in the afternoon (which is huge plus!!). It is sand playground, with small grass areas to run around/picnic.
