Wilshire Metro Hostel — Hotel in Los Angeles

Communication with the owner wasn’t the best. Weren’t made aware, before hand only accept card payments and not cash. Was ask to provide travel itinerary or ID, when mentioned this owner. He repeated, the information about how to access the building and codes. Which he sent late (lack of communication on his part) which I was not referring to. Male came into the room whilst reading and turned the light off, whilst other people weee in the room. I turned my light on my phone, which he started Huffing and puffing spacing up and down the room, kept constantly going back and forth to the bathroom and closet. Then got into an argument with another person cause he had his own personal fan on. The boy apologise stating I had turned the air con off, which was above the bed I was sleeping in. which I hadn’t touched it, it was already off. (male was on recreational drugs and had them in his procession hence why kept going back in forth to the closet) The man got into bed during the night turned up the ac as I’m on the top bunk, the ac directly underneath me I had to freeze to death. I turned it off twice which he turned it straight back up. Reached out to the owner his response was “it’s shared room” and? Doesn’t excuse the individual behaviour He also suggested, I should approach him, which the most idiotic thing, I heard in my life. Why would you ask any petite female to approach a big male, who’s twice my height and weight. when I just watch him be rude and passage aggressive to other people. I’m not taking any chances should, I get assaulted I will be calling 911. The owner job to diffuse situations, like this not push it on the customer. very Poor customer service Also dirty pillow cases, needs to new furniture, that’s not broken Loud noises banging and slamming front door downstairs and in the room. People and out the room and alarms going off every five minutes. Thinnest blanket I’ve ever seen, which doesn’t keep you warm when ac is on all night. Crazy unstable person on the room Charger point on the bunk bed, didn’t work Man kept tossing and turning making noises pretending to sleep Making weird disturbing noises Cleaner was not in the best mood, gave off unwelcoming vibe When the cleaner was making one of the beds, I had book she was on the bed with her shoes on the bed- same bed we had to sleep on. The only good thing about this hostel was the location. I know the price is cheap, however at least I expected a clean and safe place to stay. The worst part of this place is that I felt so insecure, the woman next to my bed took me photos without my permission. I told the manager but he didn't help at all. He wrote the woman to ask her if she had took a photo of me and she said no. Of course It was a lie, after then I went back to the room and she said loud that someone wants to get in trouble.. I was shocked. I never spoke to this woman and It was so scary. I really recommend not staying in this place. It seems It's not safe at all. I reserved and paid for 5 nights, but I only could stay one. Please if you are traveling alone, don't go to this place. Be safe,...

Good hostels.Next year should open new metro station.At the moment bus station is a few meters away from hostel or you can walk 15 minutes to get a metro station Wilshire .Very nice people in hostel,online check-in ✔️,you will get code in your email ✉️.Bed sheet should be changed after two days of using ,but If you let cleaners know they will change for you.Kitchen and rooms are always cleaned for a good level.Laundry room ,you can use it ,cash only one use washing machine cost 1.25USD and you will need have ready in quarters.Same thing is for dryer.Very good location.Ralphs grocery are 15 minutes away.Overall is very good hostel and recommend for everyone who would like have a nice friendly experience.I don't have any...
