Whenever we are in San Pedro, Los Angeles, we try to stop at Brite Spot for lunch or dinner. My grandson loves Mexican food and this place is his favorite in the area. It is real Mexican food, so if you are looking to diet this is not the place for you. The place is just so adorable. It is all decorated in sort of a Ranchero theme and you will hear Spanish music from the juke box. They have a great counter and super booths. They also have out door seating and I think live music out there now and again. The atmosphere is just the best. The customers are all nice and the staff is great. Your food will come hot and as ordered. They even have glass bottles of Coke from Mexico. Their food is comforting and filling. We love their enchiladas and tacos. They have great fish dishes, mostly fresh, and wow, their guacamole is fabulous. Parking is free and easy on the street. It is never too crowded. You will love this place.

I have eaten here maybe 3 times. Everytime I get reminded why I do not eat here. I got the 3 taco combination plate. Presentation was poor. The garnish for the tacos was just thrown on top of all 3. 1 of then had no garnish in it at all. This was a delivery order. The driver called me and told me he was in the front. Instead of coming to my door. I go to the front of the building he is not there. I go back to my place to get my phone to call. By the time I get back downstairs, he is just pulling up. I regret giving a tip. Will not be back for the 4th time.

Decent first time experience. The asada tacos were good and made right in front of you, the seafood soup was ok. The micheladas were very inexpensive but weren't all that great, I didn't finish mine because it was too watered downed. The salsa and chips were good and overall the restaurant had a really nice Mexican atmosphere.

This is probably my favorite Mexican food place in town. If you're going to splurge, this is the place to do it. The service is prompt, and all the employees are really attentive and accommodating. The cashier (Jocelyn I think) was able to give us some great guidance with the menu, and was especially helpful for paring side dishes with main dishes. Everything you've heard is % true and then some! Obviously the burgers are the main event, and everytime I go, it's top-notch. Juicy and perfectly cooked. Don't skip the Mexican food. The tacos, burritos, and quesadillas are so tasty too. So save room and enjoy.

Terrible experience food was horrible, I asked for aguachiles that had nothing to do with it idk what kinda recipes they have but nothing near tasting aguachiles and to top it off my food had a really thick hair on it . Possibly a beard since the staff looked so unsanitary long grown beard, grooming for both male and females were terrible. Woman staff working with long acrylic nail and personal jewelry. Restaurant is super dirty blinds are gross they had wine boxes above a stove. My Micheleda was hot ice was in it but they were already melting. We NEVER got asked if we needed another drink or how we were doing or needed something else ! I currently think I’m going through food poisoning my stomach is rumbling, diarrhea, and I’m vomiting. As well with my other family members that came with us. I will never go back here. This restaurant really needs a wake up call and get all of these issues resolved a little updating, maintaining it more cleaner make the environment more comfortable, acknowledging to follow up...
