The Artistry Wine Lounge — Restaurant in Los Angeles

We went last night to hear a Super Talented Gypsy Jazz Django Guitarist, Michael Grange. He was perfection, a great selection of standard & Gypsy Jazz songs. Venue: Quaint & intimate atmosphere with tasteful wine crates & cork as wallpaper and most of the excellent food made our night unforgettable! Food: Being a gourmand & famished, we ordered 4 appetizers: 1) Meatballs was the best! Spicy & Juicy; 2)Brussels Sprouts perfectly seasoned & super Crunchy! Everyone loved it 3) Beef Ravioli tasted good but just a little hard on the edges; 4) 1 star deducted for the tasteless pull-pork sliders bc the entire thing was dry!!! Where's the BBQ sauce or "au jus" or gravy? Wine: my hubby & our friends said the $5 special Thursday House Wine was just OK and it began to taste much better with all the food... Summary: We love it and we will definitely be back for more shows. We are so happy to find this little gem in our little artsy town of San Pedro right across from The Warner...

As usual, Artistry is beautiful and cozy - a wonderful place for good wine and food. So happy it is in San Pedro! However, I was disappointed in two things. First, I expected to bring a party of five on a Saturday night so I had left a couple of voicemails and one contact email a couple of days beforehand to check on availability, and I never received any response at all. The Artistry is elegant, has great wines, beers and tapas. It offers the perfect atmosphere to enjoy with a small group of friends. The music is tasteful but not too loud so you can actually have a conversation without yelling. The service is great, friendly, and they make you feel at home.
