All Star Inn — Hotel in Los Angeles

While it's out dated this didn't bother me at all. The towels had hair on them. The microwave is rusted in spots on inside door may be due to age. No shampoo nothing. Shower curtain is Mildewed. It makes you feel dirty to stay here. My husband got bit by something and I'm not sure what it was. Sure 100 isn't a bad price but I learned my lesson is rather pay more for a clean room. The staff however is so very sweet but I felt I needed to give an honest review. There is no way I would stay here again. A little paint and deep cleaning like shampooing carpet would go a long way. So for the next guest I have left you sealed soap, shampoo,conditioner and qtips. I hope it helps out for some people who may just assume they would have these simple yet much needed items during a hotel stay. Best of luck if staying here. The rooms have been upgraded to be neat and "clean". For a two star hotel it was a nice stay. It was quiet, the floors are all hardwood vinyl which is asthetically appealing. The water is nice and hot. The air worked. Cons had to bring my own towels. None of the towels were usable except as floor mats. One of the sheets had a bad stain. The fridge wasn't cleaned in between visitors, but it wasnt dirty. It just wasn't clean either. The didn't clean under the beds but who cares. Overall a pleasant stay. They are 5 minutes away from target and a bunch of restaurants like taco bell, mcdonalds, dominos, ihop, etc. The sushi 21 might be nice, but we didn't stop in. 8 minutes from the san pedro marina. Really over priced place. Semi-clean but the furniture was broken and old, dilapidated and sad. The television picture was strange and off, making it hard to watch with any sincerity. The people at the front desk were very friendly, I must say. And the AC in the rooms were amazingly ice cold. ... But it doesn't make up for the 1 minute of warm water you get when you shower.. Or the incredibly slow internet speeds offered as an amenity. Never have I had slower internet. Wow.

Oh, and in the morning my fiancé and I were hounded by a band of vagrants trying to run credit card scams while pitching to us some story about a wife and a debit card blah blah.
