5 stars for food, 1 star for: For the love of God, I went in for a breakfast burrito without the tortilla and she looked at me and said that will be $17 sir. I said $17? How is that possible? She said well this that the other thing and I was shocked. I in fact did pay the $17 gave her a two dollar tip and sat down.
The reason I stayed is because this restaurant is immaculate. It is the cleanest kitchen that I have ever seen. I am so impressed and so upset at the same time. You cannot charge $17 for breakfast.
That all to say he made me a plate of food which was chop steak, two eggs, and some refried beans that was actually very very good, but it was not worth that much money!!
I know you’re saying if it was too expensive you shouldn’t have paid it but I’m on this really weird diet and I had to eat then so that accounts for paying the extra money.
I’m going to try this restaurant again. I’ll let you know...
Read moreAfter 14 hours of overnight work, I passed by this place, ordered a machaca burrito to go. Took a few bites but I literally ended up with the smallest bean burrito. There's not even enough beans.. also, overhead them talked to each other saying "we don't have machaca meat". But I got lucky I found three little pieces of meat. I probably get more from a market frozen burrito than from this place. Never again will I come back to this stingy place. I'm going to Melody's instead.. the burrito that I got it's just disappointed and I even tipped them. No more next time and I will never tip this place again. Went inside, showed the bean burrito but they just looked at me and still told me saying it was machaca and I told them, look! "Where's the meat"? Anyways, Melody's will change this bad experience. Update: picture with actual meat is...
Read moreEver since moving into the area, I have been trying every random mom & pop restaurant I pass by in the area, trying to find good food. I haven't returned to 90% of the ones I've tried. There just isn't much good food in Reseda.
This place, I have already returned to, because the burrito I got -- the Machaca -- was delicious.
It has a meat that reminds me of roast beef... tender and juicy, with a home-made flavor. It also has refried beans and sauteed peppers and onions.
It is a little on the smaller side, so you may want something else to round out a meal, but it's a very good price at $6.50 (as of August 2018).
I'm looking forward to trying some of their other burritos, but I already know the Machaca will be a favorite for...
