Caffe Luxxe — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Got a latte made with almond milk it was average no complaints but, a bit overpriced for what you get. They have some nice outdoor seating, as well as some indoor. It’s very busy because the country mart is a great fun spot. I would probably just get a coffee and pastry from the farm shop which is no less expensive but I like it better. I will have to try their croissants in the future, they looked good.Also not that it is any doing by the cafe but the parking is free with validation but it was filled up like it usually is on the weekend and a spot opened and they told me I could only valet it for an extra 5 bucks...

Cashier was super rude! I forgot my wallet today and asked if he would be willing to let me try paying with Samsung pay. I made sure to tell them not to make my drink in case it didn't work. He flat out said no. After asking him to just give it a try at least 5 times, he finally turns to the other guy working there and says "this guy promises his phone will pay for his drink" in a mocking way. It ended up not working, which is fine. But he could've just tried it the first time I asked! Didn't even say sorry afterwards....

I was here with my daughter and tried to order some drinks and food and this lady was arrogant and seemed already done with us and kept giving us attitude. When I asked her to confirm my order she loudly yelled “yes I hear you” to us. We’re Asian by the way. We still haven’t gotten our lemon bar yet. Without our permission, they pressed a 20% tip for themselves. I normally wouldn’t mind tipping big for people but I just couldn’t stand their attitudes towards us. This is the second time I’ve felt racism...
