I went there for the first time the food was delicious! I had the Spaghetti All'Aragosta e Arugola, it comes in a spicy sauce. I like the fact the were willing to adjust in a sauce without sauce and it was teally good. Their Zuppa Di Pomodoro e Basilico, was good however I did feel it was missing something to plain, like having crushed tomoates boiled. Their bread or pita bread they brought was stale hard not a fan of bread like that. Service I have to say I don't know if I was new there and all others were regulars and were know by first names, but as a first timer I didn't feel as welcomed, asked for the bill and took forever. I saw where we asked one person she went and informed someone else and she was standing around talking with other co-worker just talking and like 10mins later he comes over we asked again for the bill and still he took his time walking around greeting others taking them to their table and talking with them. I wouldn't recommend if you are new to the area or just driving around, even though thee food was good everything...
Read moreSHAME on Amici management. Went there tonight for dinner with three young children for a 5:45 pm reservation. The kids were speaking in a loud voice as kids do. Half way into our dinner an angry patron approached out table mask-less and began berating us because our children were "ruining his dinner and everyones else". The interaction was scary and unpleasant, he would not leave our table. It terrified our children. The WORST part, the management / owner could not care less and did not come to our aid as were were being verbally harassed by an angry man as our children sat there in fear. He said the patron was entitled to his actions. To top it off: THERE WAS A HAIR IN OUR FOOD. Save your money and visit another local Brentwood restaurant with better customer service...
Read moreVery disappointing dinner tonight. We had a 6:30 pm reservation for three of us and we were out the door by 7:20 pm. We were not offered a wine list but asked if we would like a glass of wine. We ordered two glasses and as soon as we ever done, the empty glasses were whisked away, Server did not ask if we wanted another glass. Once we finished our entrees, the server quickly removed our plates and brought us the complimentary plate of cookies and chocolate. No one asked if we wanted dessert or coffee/tea. The service was rushed, frantic and the food mediocre at best. We have been coming to Amici for years and have always thought of it as a neighborhood gem. Not tonight. It was as if the staff could not wait to turn the...
