food and smoothies are good but sometimes they add tips onto your card after you leave even if you’ve already tipped. it happened to me a while ago and today it happened to my friend. i let it go when it happened to me but hearing that it happened to my friend as well made me come on here to say something. my friend paid with her card and tipped, after she left she got a notification from cashapp that her total was changed after she had made it home. the same thing happened to me on a $5 charge that went up to $7 after i left, i had already tipped in cash too. make sure to check your total if you pay with a card after you leave, i don’t know why they wouldn’t just add gratuity into the total instead of stealing from customers. oddly enough the same woman that checked me out when that happened is the same woman that checked my friend out today. as someone who was a server for a long time i understand the importance of tips and totally understand when restaurants add gratuity onto a check to make sure their workers are being tipped adequately, but adding them without peoples knowledge is a really foul...

I came here with a friend for lunch one day and while the food is good (I ordered a tuna salad) what throws me off more than anything else is the decor. I'm a grade A slob, my apartment is a complete mess, but there's a difference between cluttered and dirty and this place just felt dirty. It made me uneasy and definitely not in the mood to ingest nutrients. Maybe take a shower.

I asked my cohort to eat outside and he had no issue with it. and so immediately felt better, but was soon thereafter beset upon by a crowd of smokers and their cloud of smoke.

What a great cafe. It was a pleasant surprise entering this place. Very cool decor and even better was the food. Had the new Yorker and it was more then I expected. Great amount of meat's and the owner was super friendly and easy going when I asked if it can be on a toasted ciabatta bread. I highly recommend this place for the food and the ambience. I spent an hour in there and it didn't feel like it because it was suck a pleasure hanging out in there. Will definitely be back and it's going in as one of my favorite food...
