The Juice Parlor — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Stopped by here yesterday. There were quite a few people but I decided to wait. Everyone was super nice, the service was surprisingly fast. I got a "blend" which is their term for smoothies. The Very Berry smoothie was what I got and it was fantastic! I hear that they have the best acai bowls as well so I'd definitely like to try one next time I go in. The staff were really nice. However, they didn't have any organic vegetables or fruits except for apples. Their website states that their juices are organic....this is false advertising. Yet they still charge higher prices than Whole Foods, for instance, where they have organic produce and charge about $7 for an 8 ounce and $10 for the larger size. SO GOOD but so slow... employees could use some more training in dividing their work. They were either all taking orders or all making the orders at the same time. I usually have to wait a good two minutes to even be acknowledged when I walk in.
