My review/advice to the owner. Your business will continue going down unless you change your chef. I just saw your advertisement on FB and also on Instagram. You might get a few customers that will try your food once or twice, but after that, I doubt they will be returning. Advertisement won't work unless you serve delicious food. Before the fire and covid, your food was so so, but after you re open, it got worse. So my family and I stopped going there. You'll probably answer me that "you're sorry I feel this way". Just know that I am not the only customer that knows that your food is not what is expected to be. Unless I see a banner posted on your business that says under new management/try our new recipes, I will most definitely try it again. Wishing you and your business the best! Here are pics of my timeline. I've been there 30 times.

Went here because it's a good friend's favorite Mexican restaurant and I was just going to stop by and get her a gift certificate. I also ordered a vegetable fajita burrito to go. But when I came to pick it up I was charmed by the atmosphere of this place, like exactly what big chain places like el torito wish they could be like. And I was suddenly in realization about how hungry I was. And the maitre d, Pat, was super cool about me eating my to go there and directed me to a table, where I ordered chips and guac from the lovely Anabel, who was a pro server. I was very impressed by the high quality of the food. Salsa was superb, too. It was on the expensive side but usually I don't eat Mexican food in such pleasant and professional surroundings. I'll definitely be back. Thanks Pat, Anabel, and Mucho Mas

To be honest, I probably won't come back. The food and service were both mediocre. I didn't like my food at all and the waitress didn't bother to come and check on us until we were ready for the bill. I also saw how the other waiters did the same thing and wouldn't come back to check on the people they were serving for very long amounts of time. It was also freezing! They had the fans on full blast; it was uncomfortably cold. There was also food on the wall, which unfortunately doesn't surprise me. A lot of restaurants don't clean their walls, which shows that they don't pay attention or bother to make sure those areas are clean - the picture makes it look a lot cleaner than it really was.

It's official!! their customer service has officially gone down the drain...worst service I've received there.... Did you guys get rid of all your good waiters??? I was with a party of 4 & we were not even acknowledge by our waiter the bust boy had to take our drinks order.. Then when she finally notice us after 15mins of us waiting for someone?? She doesn't greet us and is rude & ask what we wanted... ?? Fine i let it go...i get food service requires a lot.. Specially when your busy & have alot of customers but they didn't!! Anyway we gave her our order... Never once did she checked on us to see if we needed anything or refills on drinks .. It was about 45mins after we had ordered & i asked the bust boy if the food would be long? I had my kids with me & were getting ancy because they were hungry... So he got our waiter & when she came by she said the food would be out soon.. Not even 5mins went by and she came back with food for 2 people... Then she said that the kids food was coming up... When i got my food my guacamole was disgusting... Was old & brown.... The pico de gallo was nasty... I couldn't eat it!! After waiting another 15min for my kids to get their food.. I was sooo upset i asked to please give me fresh guacamole... But she failed to do so.. So insted she brought me avacado slices.. Not the same as guacamole?? i ate as much as i could given whatever they wanted to serve me because even then she got my food order wrong!!... I didnt put a complain because i just wanted to leave i was so upset... I just simply didnt tip for the horrible service .. & I really shouldn't have paid for anyting that was...

I’ve lived in the neighborhood a long time and always pass by here today I decided to try it because really I didn’t feel like waiting in a long salsa and beer line. 1st let me say that I’ve never heard ANY restaurant ( and I go to many) say you can only partake in happy hour if you sit at the bar. If it’s hapoy hour it’s happy hour wherever you are in the restaurant. Very interesting... was charged $11 for a margarita at 5 in the evening and got absolutely no buzz and I’m a one hitter quitter with drinks it only takes one so either they just watered it down or didn’t put any liquor in it either way it was terrible I was going to say something but didn’t have the energy today and I’m usually pretty good about letting management know.. There were gnats flying over us... and we were inside! Food was flavorless but the portions were good. waiter was nice. I’ve never been to any Mexican restaurant where I don’t like the chips and salsa I don’t get the good reviews either people don’t know good food or or just scared to branch out.Maybethrur food used to be good a friend said it was but their menu ,food and ambiance seems to cater towards the older set I mean it is Burbank. I feel really slighted in terms of the happy hour situation.never again ill just...

I always start my Mexican food reviews with their chips and salsa. Yes, they are complimentary when you sit! As silly as it sounds, some restaurants only give you chips and salsa upon request, and worse, charge for them. So, this is very important to me. The chips themselves are dry (not greasy) and the salsa is more of a chunky tomato or pico de gallo type. Not very spicy. This might actually be more of a plus, I've been to places where the salsa is too spicy and some of my friends that I'm with can't enjoy. For my main dish I had a tostada. The shell was a little greasy and very flaky (which I loved). I can also tell that everything was prepared fresh being that the warms were warm (chicken, beans) and the colds were cold (lettuce, sour cream). The restaurant is by no means fancy but it's also very well taken care of. Staff was very nice, my water was constantly being refilled, and food came out prompt. There is an outside eating area as well as an inside area. On the west side of the restaurant, there is a bar if you just fill like stopping in for a drink. Overall great place right on the border of Burbank and North Hollywood. Food isn't pricey but could be a little cheaper. I've never had to wait during the weekday which is...
