I passed by this restaurant while growing up in Highland Park on Ave 49 hundreds of times. The mural with the mustached chili pepper is a landmark for me. Well, I finally tried it after so many years. Now I know why they’ve been in business for so long. Their food is delicious. Read moreThis is a great restaurant for Mexican dishes. It’s so small but they offer so much variety. I’d give it a 4.5 so I rounded up to 5 stars. I’ll definitely be back.

There is a small parking lot next door. There is one bathroom outside but it’s clean and...
