Coco Luv Cookies — Restaurant in Los Angeles

This review is for online orders only. Hopefully those of you that are local have better luck.

I placed an order with Coco Luv back in 2022. Yes, shipping was slow but getting decent vegan desserts shipped to Iowa is worth the wait. In 2025, however, their communication is sorely lacking and their customer service is nonexistent.

I placed my order on Jan 6th. Their website says that it can take 10-18 business days to process so I finally emailed on Feb 3rd to ask about the status of my order. They stated that they were behind due to the LA fires. That is unfortunate, but an email letting me know about the delay would have gone a long way. I requested a refund on the same day, never received a response. I requested a refund, again, several days later and was told that it was issued & to wait a few days.

I never did receive my refund. Ultimately, I opened a case with my credit card company to get my money refunded.

Do not bother ordering from here if you want things shipped to you. Take a warning from me and the other reviewers here and elsewhere. There are so many vegan options now that you do not need to waste your time. They need to remain local or drastically improve their communication...

I ordered several goods from them and didn’t realize their disclaimer that it would take 3 weeks before shipping. So, I waited the three weeks plus a couple of days before receiving an email that my order shipped with a tracking number. I checked the tracking number and it said “Label generated. Package waiting to be received by the post office.” Ten days later I still had not received my order. After emailing them twice regarding my order they finally responded and told me that they shipped it out already and I should have received it by now because it are sent via USPS Priority mail 2-3 business days. They apologized and said that they would send out another one. The tracking number still showed label generated and package waiting to be received by post office. Second email received that my order was shipped with a new tracking number. Same status label generated and package awaiting to be received by post office. A week later still nothing received. I emailed them again requesting a refund. Only received an email response that my item has shipped with a new tracking number. Almost two months later and still no package received. I’m disputing with my credit...

I hate to give a poor review, but unfortunately I can't give any more than 2 stars...

I ordered a cake for my wife's birthday 8 days in advance, and chose 3 day shipping. It should have arrived in time for me to decorate it and bring it with us, as we were going away for her birthday.

Three days go by and no cake. No shipping updates.

I sent an email asking for any updates. No reply. I wait 2 more days without any reply and write another email. Still no shipping updates or email replies.

5 days after placing the order, I finally received an update saying it has shipped. Too bad it was just that a shipping label was created. It didn't actually ship out for three more days. Meaning it would arrive today... 3 days after I needed it. 6 days from the day the shipping label was created.

Unfortunately the cake was pretty smashed up in the box, so I can't comment on the actual cake itself. The buttercream that it came with was good, however a bit too sweet for me.
