Michael's, 11260 West Olympic Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90064
I had a picture frame that was framed by one of Michael's other locations a long time ago, however, I had a problem with the glass and wooden frame and so I wrote them plenty of letters and Thankfully, I was invited to come back to my local Michael's store in order to get taken care of properly and right!
In My Case: I had to make two (2) trips which was Not Their Fault!
The first time that I visited them, I had to get the broken glass replaced, however, when I got back home, I also discovered that the wood that was used for the wooden frame had a slight discoloration.
Thankfully, I was allowed to come back to the same Michael's store for a second time and was well taken care of by Crystal.
My only disappointment was that they did not have the wooden frame available and I had to leave it there for about seven (7) more days and they will call me back around October 27, 2017 to pick it up.
Other then that, they atleast took good care of ME as their Michael's Loyal Customer and I'm sure that they will do a Great Job at Replacing The Wooden Frame as well like they did for the Glass Portion already.
I want to personally Thank Crystal and the other former male employee from the week before for taking care of ME and all of my Michael's Picture Framing Needs back on Friday, October 20, 2017.
Thank you.
Sincerely yours,

I am writing a second (2nd) review because unfortunately, I had to take the picture frame/glass back twice to the store because there was a slight discoloration on the wooden frame from the past which is Not their personal fault.
However, I am Proud to say that Michael's Took Care Of All My Needs and as of Thursday, October 26, 2017, I left the store being a Very Satisfied And Happy Michael's Customer!
I personally want to Thank Claudia, the onsite store manager for taking care of ME on my Very Last Visit (and hopefully Not the Last Visit Ever) because Michael's Does Excellent Custom Picture Framing and Really Goes Out Of Their Way To Take Care Of Their Customer's Needs!
Sincerely yours,

Read moreThey’re indirectly rude and their cashiers brains are misconstrued. (Also NOT DOCTORS!) Here it is; I crochet so I am always looking for something new (yarn). I walk in buy myself some $2.39 m&m’s and $6.00 naked pistachios (no shell). It takes a little longer than 30 minutes for my daughter in this case to pick out colors via text. I asked the cashier if I could eat the snacks while shopping and she said “yes” I proceeded to shop, then saw a afroAmerican store-rep pass me up so I stopped her for some critiquing of image of a crochet-shawl. She gave suggestions, followed by another rep trying to clear what I had picked out because she was “cleaning”. I stopped her from removing what I had already picked out and asked her to also critique what I had picked-out and critique the prior image viewed. Followed by the same afro-American from before pacing up and down the end-caps outside the isle where I was searching. (I have been to this store many times before and for you guessed it ...yarn) when finally my daughter texted that the color combo “looked great” I got in line again for the yarn, I scanned for more m&m’s or pistachios and the box full of m&m’s was gone and also no more pistachios. Hmmm, the first cashier that attentively sold me snacks gave me a weird look and soon after the same afro-American came to checkout (no line either) and her attitude was as if annoyed with me. Nonetheless, she helped me out and I was out the door. I am not sick and I do not have any signs of being sick. Some of those employees are playing doctor and that has to stop. I am not yours to analyze and or critique You’ll have to leave that business to a Doctors Office. Or lose clientele. Moving forward; lose the existence of the store. I won’t go back to that store ever again. I was willing to buy the candy at highway robbery prices but after all that de-bag-garry scenario...I’m good! I live in Culver City and so I don’t have to buy out of the “los-angeles gestapo-type-swindlers.” ...

I don’t really write reviews cause I never feel very strongly about shopping, but shopping here pissed me off so bad, it’s been a while since I’ve shopped at this location or just Michael’s in general, but I went in with some specific items in mind, some I found the rest I couldn’t find, I wanted to ask someone but there was NO ONE walking around the store only three people and they were at register helping with balloons and watching self checkout so once I got to the register I couldn’t ask because again it was self checkout, I never had a chance to talk to a real person, I walked around the store 3 times to try and find someone to ask, and there were no employees. And I blame corporate, like I know you HATE paying people but removing customer service in this line of retail is self sabotage and making arts and crafts souless. Nothing wrong with the employees they were doing their best with how little staff they had. With all of my years of living and shopping I’ve never been so pissed off by a shopping experience. I recommend that if you need art materials go to Blick, they have enough staff to help you find what you’re looking for and recommend items for your product. Also I recommend current employees to find another job cause I don’t see this one lasting as they’ve cut more than half their...
