Nestled in West Los Angeles, Artelice Pâtisserie feels like a little portal to Paris, where butter reigns supreme, and every bite tells a story. My visit? An absolute dream.
First up, the Saint Honoré, a regal little masterpiece. Imagine caramelized puff pastry standing at attention, encircling a cloud of Madagascar vanilla pastry cream and salted caramel. And just when you think it couldn’t get any more indulgent—boom! A 24-hour-infused Madagascar vanilla ganache crowns the whole affair. Thanks to Newsom and local policy makers (and voters), businesses have a minimum wage to pay when they hire staff. French bakers are paid roughly €12 an hour. That's an equivalent of US$12.84 on today's rate. We are at $15.50 going on to $16 in 2024.
Your comment on "French imitation" is inaccurate as we all know Viennoiserie technically originated...
