You want very good coffee and pastries, a indirect light-filled space, and Instagram worthy photo opportunity? Or maybe you want an eye-pleasing outdoor seating area with minimal traffic noise and a lot of birdsongs? You are in the perfect place! The owner Jessica opened this remarkable shop in 2021. While pregnant with yet another child, she was also pregnant with the intent to create a beautiful place for people to gather in the post-pandemic world; little did she (and the rest of us) know the pandemic was far from over. She created a vision of a community space, found the location, plowed through permitting process and tore through the bureaucratic tape at the time when everything takes so much longer. She got to work on designing, creating a concise menu that is just right, purchasing machines that look like art, hiring good people, and finally opening the doors to this magical space that gets your creative juices flowing. Right now, she does not own the business, instead the business owns her, but she is wildly optimistic and her story continues. I invite you to insert your own paragraph, or maybe even a chapter into this story. You can start by visiting, by taking a sip of the inspiring beverages crafted with love and honest desire to elevate. Come. Eat....
Read moreSuper bright, sweet cafe with AMAZING coffee….hiding in plain sight! Just go. I know it’s next to a tacky Liquore store but look at how adorable it is on the inside. Loads of bright blue sky through the many windows. And it’s quiet n chill, PERFECT for laptop work! The espresso is full of flavor but not at all bitter nor sour like some full bodied coffee.
And they have a lil’ secret outdoor seating in the little wooden trellised thingy in the parking lot.
Only cons: It’s in the 80s inside in the winter, and in the 60s inside in summers. Dress in layers🤪 Closes too early at 3pm. They begin cleanup at 2pm and omg it’s annoying! Super loud screeching hand vacuums, flushing the espresso machine at that deafening pitch for like 20 mins! And sweeping floor aggressively, smacking the broom into your table or chair..although that’s usually the owner. Staff here is super nice, but the owner woman is hot or cold, aloof and indifferent mostly.
Still. There’s no other great coffee in this exact neighborhood so I’m so...
Read moreIt was an okay experience. A few things to consider before visiting, the inside is absolutely freezing. I wore a jacket with sweatpants and I still couldn't get comfortable temperature wise. An awkward fact about this place; the corner booth, isn't available to sit at. Just as the photos linked to this location show, the corner booth has a sign that says it's not available to sit at. When the barista was asked about it, they said the pillows present a challenge in disinfectanting. The pillows are not a permanent design and can be removed/ stored elsewhere. It appears, at least in my opinion, to be a decorative decision vs a logical business decision. The flow of customers remained steady, the barista was quick to turn orders out. In my personal opinion, if it were warmer and the corner booth were available to sit at, Coffea...
