I have lived next to this location for more than 15 years, but have never stepped inside until now. I am a little ashamed at myself for not visiting earlier, but c'est la vie. I ordered one of there lunch deals which consists of 2 slices of pizza, small house salad, and a soda for around $10. The salad was surprisingly delicious, small but very filling. The gentleman brought over a cold Italian-like dressing that went super well with the salad. The salad also came with a small but tasty garlic roll. A little after, the two huge slices of pepperoni pizza came. Relatively thin crust pizza, but huge. Very scrumptious, but a tad on the oily side. The entire meal definitely filled me up and was totally great, however the only reason why I gave 4 starts instead of 5 was the price of the food. I have gone to other pizza joints around the San Fernando Valley and got the same exact deal for $6 or even $5 and it was just as good. I'm sure because it is a bigger chain place and a more famous one the prices have to be kind of high. Regardless of that this pizza place is delicious and I will definitely come back to try other items...
Read moreI think they should be reported for deceptive advertising! There's a sign right in front saying $10 for a small pizza. Today I ordered a small pizza, not thinking about the price, when the pizza was ready I said: “why are you charging me almost 6 dollars more than the advertised price you have posted in front?” the cashier and manager said: “you didn't ask for it!” ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? Rather than start a commotion, I politely asked, will you at least give me a can of coke since I am a good patron of your pizza establishment….this has nothing to do with money but the principle of this matter. DO YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW THEY THINK OF THEIR CUSTOMERS….HIS ANSWER WAS NO! Well, apparently they don't know the business laws like I do, I will now report them to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU for deceptive advertising and I will post several negative reviews. I always live by this mantra: DON’T SACRIFICE YOUR INTEGRITY FOR THE O-MIGHTY- DOLLAR & GREED. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF…. GO BACK TO THE COUNTRY WHERE...
Read moreI’d give it three stars, except the service was terrible (rude and impatient, unreasonably irritated when I asked for something simple, like the price of a special), and the place is dirty. The pizza is likewise unremarkable. In conclusion, when there’s nothing special about the place’s food, what makes the difference between going here and to the quite similar mom-and-pop pizza shop across the street is, frankly, customer service, and I’ve been here three times leading up to the trifecta culminating experience. I wanted to support this place, but it’s hard to do so when they give you cold, doughy, barely cooked garlic knots with no sauce and room temperature pizza. God forbid I ask for Parmesan or about items on the menu. And don’t even bother acknowledging that I tipped you thickly because I felt sorry for you in that dark, dank cave of a restaurant. You might be busy in these trying times, so I gave you chances, but now it’s ultimately not...
