Denny's — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Me and my date came to this Denny's to grab an early morning bite to eat before heading home after a Saturday night out. We each ordered full breakfasts with specialty pancakes. He ordered the Banana Berry and I ordered the Cinnamon Roll pancakes both came with a full plate of bacon, eggs your way and a large helping of hash browns to top it off. To say the pancakes were fresh, hot and delicious would be putting it lightly. They were BOMB-DELI-ICIOUS!!! What taste sensation! Hot pancakes with delicicous nuggets of cinnamon and brown sugar cooked right into the batter topped with a cream cheese frosting drizzle, whipped cream & butter and served with a carafe of warm maple flavored syrup to add to taste. Although these pancakes didn't need any. They were perfect as served. To add to this awesome experience we were greeted and served by one of the friendliest and accommodating servers l've ever had at a Denny's... especially at this hour of the morning. In fact, when I told the server I would like my hash browns cooked a little more he scooped up my plate with a smile on his face and returned immediately (literally within seconds) with well done has browns on my plate.. saying the Chef was already cooking another order which was specified Well Done so he just served me that order so I wouldn't have to wait any longer to eat my meal. I thanked the well mannered server with a 30% tip and even a little extra for the cook for treating me to a great late night...

This location is relatively new to me, as zi was between appointments abd needed to grab an early lunch. Very clean location, service was very good with food coming quickly and done as it should. Refills of drinks without my asking... I love that.

This visit I actually came on the last day for the Bacon Obsession Burger. But changed the order to a Bourbon Bacon Burger. Now, I normally have my burgers medium, and Denny's always cooks them well. I eat the ones with special sauces or toppings, as I'm not a fan of their meat alone. This time, the majority of the meal was very good, with crispy fries and a well burger with a leaf of iceberg lettuce under the burger. The lettuce leaf protects the bun from getting soggy. I ran out of the bourbon sauce on the last few bites ... reminding me why I always order the sauces. No ketchup for me ... not even on fries; I use Tabasco.

I will go back, but next time I'll get a little more of the sauce...
