East-West Fish Market — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Owner (older lady) very disrespectful! I've always had issues with my order either being wrong or missing items and despite this I've continue to go back & support this business but after today I will not be back. The older lady (owner) was very rude, dismissive, and angry to the fact that I wanted a refund FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER instead of the sides that were to be cooked and given to me the next day... but after thinking about it what was I gone do with just the sides when the meals was already gone??? So I requested a refund instead and was even nice enough to bring back BOTH of the wrong sides I was given the prior day. The older lady walked up to window aggressively trying to hand me the $2 dollars & 25 cent and quicky tried to close & lock window in my face as she was still in the action of giving me back my "refund" for my side orders that were incorrect on both of my plates. They even tried lying over the phone prior to me coming back saying the sides were put in my bag.... like why would I be calling if I had the correct side orders or even an "extra" side order like it doesn't make since if I didn't order no extra/add-on sides so why would there be two different sides put in my bag instead of just the 1 that was ordered?.... so there not even willing to trust the customer's word before basically trying to call them a liar which is also another problem within its self and its very sad when I spending $30/$45 dollars on 2 plates everyime I come here.... long story short they will mess up your order multiple times and the one time you decide you're tired of it and actually want a refund they will become aggressive. I ordered 2 lunch plates/2 drinks which came up to $30 dollars.... For 2 plates both with incorrect sides my refund was $2.25 cent TOTAL..... which is not even adding up if I order two plates why wouldn't the total be an even number when there's no sale taxes or anything bc it was given back to me in cash instead of being put back onto my card which was the original form of payment.... there basically saying the all lunch sides are $1.12 each which also doesn't even make sense. It was giving very much typical asian lady beauty supply/nail shop behavior!! These people want to set up there businesses up in our communities but not be for community or people! Very Sad! Will no longer be giving these people my money and I will be advising very one I know to do the same, these are the type of "businesses" that need to be removed from the community asap. Very...

First time try and was highly pleased. Your preferences can be accommodated. I didnt have any special requests, so I just let them fry as they normally would. Tender juicy fish & shrimp with tender juicy meat, NOT OVERCOOKED at all, some places can fry the fish dry., but not here, unless u want them too, lol. Building is not easy on the eyes but worth trying their food!! Great service. Someone left a comment about how good the hotsauce is. I agree it is good with a vinegary base. We absolutely love this Fish Market, my whole Family frequents this Fish Market. It’s my daughter’s favorite. And all of us love it! Food is always fresh and made to order. I must say they have these pickled veggies that’s a must have. I order them on every single order. The Restaurant is always clean and doesn’t have a fishy smell. There’s free street parking.
